Under the measure, advocated by Sens. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) and Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), the president would be prohibited from withdrawing from NATO without the approval of two-thirds of the Senate or separate legislation passed by Congress.

Kaine and Rubio had tried to advance similar measures since 2021. Passage of the defense policy bill this week marked the first time the House had embraced the tactic.

The Republican-led House Armed Services Committee did not respond to questions about why the chamber accepted the provision.

Funding the Pandemic, Hiding the Communications

Anthony Fauci and friends were funding gain-of-function research in the Wuhan China lab where the virus may have originated. To hinder inquiry, Team Fauci used non-government emails to communicate and avoid open records obligations. These federal government employees should be reprimanded for hiding communications. “The lab leakers are already stirring up bullshit lines of attack that will bring more negative publicity our way — which is what this is about — a way to line up the [gain-of-function] attack on Fauci, or the ‘risky research’ attack on all of us,” wrote Daszak in one email on September 7.

“Do not rule out suing these assholes for slander,” wrote Morens in response.

Zelensky and his partners are named in the Panama Papers which exposed corrupt politicians holding their wealth outside their countries, supposedly with the idea that it would not be traceable to them.

Nikki Haley recently said, “I’m tired of talking about a Department of Defense. I want a Department of Offense.“

If tough-talking Haley is tired of talking, she should enlist and gain some stamina at boot camp.

Neocon warmonger and Secretary of Treasury Janet Yellen said the USA can fight two war fronts at the same time.

Anyone paying attention to grocery store prices over the past couple years has seen prices double and triple. Middle income and lower income Americans are struggling to afford necessities and are not "doing extremely well". Apparently Yellen ignores the debt downgrade by credit rating Fitch. Janet Yellen should encourage her friends and family to enlist and fight the various wars, and to write checks to fund forever wars.

A federal criminal complaint has been filed charging Frederick Douglass Moorefield, Jr., age 62, of Arnold, Maryland, and Mario Damon Flythe, age 49, of Glen Burnie, Maryland with promoting and furthering animal fighting venture. ...

According to the affidavit filed in support of the complaint, Moorefield, a Deputy Chief Information Officer for Command, Control, and Communications, for Office of the Secretary of Defense, and Flythe used an encrypted messaging application to communicate with individuals throughout the United States to discuss dogfighting. 

Another government employee, Anthony Fauci oversaw testing of infecting dogs with flesh-eating flies.

House Speaker Voted Out

In an unprecedented move, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy was voted out by both members of the House of Representatives. It is unclear why former Speaker McCarthy (RINO from California) did not resign the position before the vote.

We should expect political conflict and turmoil to increase until we have a new federal government around 2032. This may mean big States such as California may go there own way and separate from the federal government.

The big-government neocon Republicans attempted to delay the vote, but were stymied.

Kevin McCarthy has been ousted as speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives following an unprecedented motion to remove him from the nation's third-highest post.

In a historic recall vote, the House voted 216-210 on Tuesday to strip McCarthy of his leadership role, after far-right Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz filed a long shot "motion to vacate" the night before.

The motion only required a simple majority vote to succeed, which was reached with the help of House Democrats. Shortly after McCarthy announced that he would not make a deal with Democrats in order to earn their backing, Minority House Leader Hakeem Jeffries reportedly directed his caucus to vote for new leadership.

Republican officials attempted to push the recall vote to a later date so that they could have more time to lobby defectors, but the motion to table failed on Tuesday afternoon.

McCarthy's ousting marks the first time in the nation's history that a House speaker has been removed, and the first time in 113 years that the House has formally sought to oust its speaker.

The statutory minimum wage in Germany has stood at 9.82 euros per hour since 1 January 2022. Arithmetically, this corresponds to a minimum wage level of 1,621 euros per month (in gross terms) for a full-time job.

Same Viral Load With Or Without Shots

There was significant peer pressure to get the corona virus shots due to perception that the shots would reduce viral load and thus help stop re-transmission to other people. The Centers for Disease Control has debunked the myth that shots reduce the viral load. CDC says people with the shots have similar viral loads to those without the shots.

This might mean that the viral load of vaccinated and unvaccinated persons infected with SARS-CoV-2 is also similar.

One scary part of the study results is that 74% of the covid cases were in people who had received the shots. Since this study shows the shots don't reduce viral load (which maybe could have reduced the spread to other people), and if shots don't protect from infection, it may be prudent until long-term safety studies are finished.
