You Might Be al-Qaida If ...

You Might Be al-Qaida If ...

It is cheap, basic and widely available around the world. Yet the Casio F-91W digital watch was declared to be "the sign of al-Qaida" and a contributing factor to continued detention of prisoners by the analysts stationed at Guantánamo Bay.

Briefing documents used to train staff in assessing the threat level of new detainees advise that possession of the F-91W – available online for as little as £4 – suggests the wearer has been trained in bomb making by al-Qaida in Afghanistan.

Obama Escalates Libya Bombing

Bully Obama is escalating his attacks on Libya.

America turned up the heat on Colonel Gaddafi last night by approving the use of killer Predator drones in Libya.

Does anyone doubt the new boss is the same as the old boss? Obama is the same as Bush and has continued Bush's policies of meddling:
The U.S. money for Syrian opposition figures began flowing under President George W. Bush after political ties with Damascus were frozen in 2005, the newspaper said.

The financial backing has continued under President Barack Obama, even as his administration sought to rebuild relations with Assad, the Post said. In January, the White House posted an ambassador to Damascus for the first time in six years.

Ireland Bails Out Bankers

Max Keiser documentary of Ireland bailing out the bankers at the expense of the Irish taxpayers.

In Dublin, one person interviewed explains how people can not get housing debt discharged within the current laws. People are put in jail when they default. "Emigration wakes" are occurring with people leaving Ireland forever to avoid debtor's jail.

Part 2:

Article on We Are Change Ireland:
In this age of revelation in which we find ourselves, it is becoming clear that we have been misled about a great deal. Much has been kept from us and indeed we have been repeatedly lied to by those we entrusted and invested with power.

USPS Misplaces Statue of Liberty

USPS created a stamp with a picture of the Statue of Liberty. They used the Statue of Liberty replica in Las Vegas:
When the U.S. Postal Service printed 3 billion stamps last year, it thought the image was of the Statue of Liberty, the iconic symbol of freedom keeping watch over huddled masses yearning to breathe free.

But a sharp-eyed stamp collector uncovered the truth. The image on the 44-cent stamp was of a replica of the Statue of Liberty more than 2,000 miles away, keeping watch over throngs of sweaty Vegas tourists yearning to get rich.

Is it time to fully privatize the USPS and allow free competition in mail delivery?

Handing Rich People Money

Another great article on fraud for Wall Street. When will America wake up and End The Fed?

The Real Housewives of Wall Street
Why is the Federal Reserve forking over $220 million in bailout money to the wives of two Morgan Stanley bigwigs?
"People talk about how these were loans that were paid back," says a congressional aide who has studied the transactions. "But when the state is lending money at zero percent and the banks are turning around and lending that money back to the state at three percent, how is that different from just handing rich people money?"

We're The Largest

We're the largest! We're #1.

U.S. Deficit to Rise to Largest Among Major Economies, IMF Says
The U.S. shortfall will reach 10.8 percent of its gross domestic product this year, ahead of Japan and the U.K., the Washington-based IMF said in a report released today. It estimates that President Barack Obama will need to cut the deficit by 5 percentage points of GDP in the next two fiscal years, the largest adjustment in “at least half a century,” to meet his pledge of halving it by the end of his four-year term.

Will Obama fulfill his deficit pledge? Did Obama fulfill his Gitmo pledge? No He Won't!

Iceland Stands Up To The Bankers

While countries like the USA, Ireland, and Portugal immediately roll over and bail out the bankers at taxpayer expense, Iceland voters are again standing up to the bankers.

"No" vote ahead in Iceland debt deal referendum
The "no" vote was ahead in early returns on Sunday in Iceland's referendum on a plan to repay Britain and the Netherlands $5 billion from a bank crash, a deal that is seen as key to Iceland's swift economic recovery.

Despite what Reuters says about hindering a swift economic recovery, Iceland is setting up to be one of the first, and maybe the strongest economies in the next few years.

Canada Stops Radiation Monitoring

Canada is so sure radiation from Japan will not reach North America that Canadian radiation monitors have been turned off.

"Please note that as of March 25, 2011, the frequency of data collection by NRCan using the mobile surveys has been decreased due to the low levels of radiation being detected."

Radiation Denial

Americans were first told the Japanese nuclear reactor radiation would not reach America. Now that radiation is reaching America and entering our food supply, we are told it is OK by supposed experts who talk about equivalent doses.

Nuclear policy expert: “Striking” that radioactive iodine-131 in California rainwater is so far above level permitted in drinking water

EPA: Boise rainwater has highest levels of radioactive material in US… 80 times amount of I-131 allowed in drinking water — “Officials had no explanation”

World's Largest Money Launder

It has been discovered that the world's largest drug money launderer was Wachovia Bank.

During a 22-month investigation by agents from the US Drug Enforcement Administration, the Internal Revenue Service and others, it emerged that the cocaine smugglers had bought the plane with money they had laundered through one of the biggest banks in the United States: Wachovia, now part of the giant Wells Fargo.

Drug money launderer Wachovia is now part of Wells Fargo. Where are the criminal indictments that result in handcuffs on actual people from Wachovia? The banks own American government, so there won't be any handcuffs for laundering over $378 billion.

USA Bailed Out Libya

A couple years ago Libya was such a friend the Federal Reserve provided Libya a $25 billion financial bailout. Now Libya is our enemy. This is insane:
Arab Banking Corp., the lender part- owned by the Central Bank of Libya, used a New York branch to get 73 loans from the U.S. Federal Reserve in the 18 months after Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. collapsed.

The bank, then 29 percent-owned by the Libyan state, had aggregate borrowings in that period of $35 billion ...

Japanese Radiation Falls On USA

Japan's radiation has arrived in the USA food supply:
Low levels of radiation have been detected in milk in two U.S. states, the first sign Japan's nuclear crisis is affecting American food.
