Sheriff: Colony Ridge is overwhelmed with crime and drug overdoses

Liberty County Sheriff Bobby Rader says his department is overwhelmed with crime and drug overdoses at a massive settlement of illegal aliens north of Houston known as Colony Ridge.

"I've heard rumors that the cartel is buying up these houses," Rader said. ... In response, Gov. Greg Abbott says he plans to add Colony Ridge to next month's special session.

If the Governor was serious, he would call out the national guard. Texas and Greg Abbott and Bobby Rader are looking for excuses to continue to be soft on crime.

Nazis in Ukraine were not apprehended nor prosecuted after WWII. Many remained in Ukraine, and some even emigrated to North America. The Canadian parliament recently gave a standing ovation to one such Nazi from Ukraine who is reportedly 98 years old.

During Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's visit to the Canadian parliament on Friday, speaker Anthony Rota called 98-year-old veteran Yaroslav Hunka a "hero." Hunka, who was in the crowd and received two standing ovations, served as a member of the 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS before retiring to Canada.
