Fox News Manipulates Video

War Drums Beat

While the war drums against Iran continue to beat, and economic and banking sanctions are being place on Iran, the US Department of Defense says, "Tehran has not made a decision to proceed with developing a nuclear weapon."

Why are war-mongers running the world? Who benefits?

Paul Craig Roberts says:
As a signatory to the non-proliferation treaty, Iran has the right to develop nuclear energy. IAEA inspectors are permanently in Iran and report no diversion of nuclear material to a weapons program.

In other words, according to the reports of the International Atomic Energy Agency, the US National Intelligence Estimate, and the current Secretary of Defense, there is no evidence that Iran has nukes or is making nukes. Yet, Obama has placed illegal sanctions on Iran and continues to threaten Iran with military attack on the basis of an accusation that is contradicted by all known evidence.

Missouri Town Ends Water Medication

Unlicensed application of the toxic/medicine fluoride in municipal water is receiving push-back in some communities.

Mayor seals vote to remove fluoride from water
Alderman Rob Ross moved to remove fluoride from the city’s water, seconded by Alderman Darren Crowder. The issue, frequently revisited in the last two years and voted on twice by the board, came up again at the board’s Jan. 26 work session as a way to save money when the city was cutting its budget by about $400,000.

The council understands the scope of their authority does not extend into health medication:
“I think providing fluoride pills or washes or anything like that is the responsibility of the Polk County Health Department and not the responsibility of the city council,” Best said. “We should not get involved in health care.”

Un-American Federal Reserve

The private Federal Reserve continues to obfuscate and hide it's operations. When will Americans demand a full and complete audit of the Federal Reserve?

Fed's Secret Sale Of AIG Assets To Goldman Criticized As 'Un-American'
... the Fed's decision to keep the auction secret was unfair to both investors and taxpayers. They said that if the bank had allowed the free market to set the price for the assets, the sale would have earned taxpayers more money.

"The exclusivity by which the process has shut out smaller dealers is a little un-American. ...

Republican Disaster

A reporter says this is a "Disaster for the Republican party."

The story covers how the Maine GOP fixed the recent caucus to make Mitt Romney win. They counted only 84% of the vote, there is documented vote inconsistency, and some areas are recorded as having zero votes.

The reporter is correct when he says this type of fraud may give Mitt Romney a short boost while ultimately damaging the Republican party.

A veteran with trouble sleeping called the national suicide hotline, and had a short conversation. He then took his sleepin medication and went to bed.

"Not Significantly Different From Zero"

In science-speak "not significantly different from zero" means the Asian glaciers are not melting.

The Himalayas and nearby peaks have lost no ice in past 10 years
... The world's greatest snow-capped peaks, which run in a chain from the Himalayas to Tian Shan on the border of China and Kyrgyzstan, have lost no ice over the last decade, new research shows.

The discovery has stunned scientists, who had believed that around 50bn tonnes of meltwater were being shed each year and not being replaced by new snowfall.

Afghanistan "Absence of Success"

The unending war on an undefined enemy is costing America our lives, our treasure, and the effort is failing.

Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis turned whistleblower and broke ranks with the official portrayal of the Afghan war after he 'witnessed the absence of success on virtually every level.'
'How many more men must die in support of a mission that is not succeeding?' Colonel Davis asked in an article titled 'Truth, Lies and Afghanistan: How Military Leaders Have Let Us Down.'
...
Colonel Davis has reportedly provided a full account of his findings in a classified report to several members of Congress, both Democrats and Republicans, senators and House members.
Since 2001, the US death toll in Afghanistan has grown to 1,892 and coalition death figures reach 2,883.

DEA Harasses Legislator

The 10th amendment to the federal constitution states that anything not explicitly given to the feds to regulate shall be regulated by the states or the people. Marijuana is not in the constitution as something the feds should regulate, so states creating marijuana laws is constitutional.

The federal Drug Enforcement Agency has taken to harassing state lawmakers who are implementing state marijuana laws:
A member of Montana's state legislature says the Drug Enforcement Agency began investigating her over support for medical marijuana laws.

FDA Spying

FDA employees told congressional investigators about the FDA illegally approving devices that were not safe. The FDA then spied on these employees.

2) FDA spies on employee whistleblowers
3) Since it appears the FDA actually works for the medical device companies and not the public, private the FDA

Where are the handcuffs? Where is the 99% and Occupy Wall Street?

Bribery, compromised officials leave indicted financial-crime suspects free from prosecution under Holder’s DOJ
A U.S. Justice Department source has told The Daily Caller that at least two DOJ prosecutors accepted cash bribes from allegedly corrupt finance executives who were indicted under court seal within the past 13 months, but never arrested or prosecuted.
...
U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is aware prosecutors and elected officials were bribed and otherwise compromised, but has not held anyone accountable.
