World Bankster Indicted

It may surprise some people to see the IMF chief indicted for embezzlement and fraud.  It is also surprising how the previous chief left under indictment for sexual molestation of a hotel chambermaid.

What should be the real surprise?
Sit back and think.  Take your time.

The real surprise should be the chiefs of Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, the Federal Reserve, and the World Bank aren't also under indictment.  It has been documented that Goldman Sachs helped Greece cook the country's books so Greece could fraudulently qualify for admittance into the Euro currency zone.

Greek Debt Crisis: How Goldman Sachs Helped Greece to Mask its True Debt
Greece's debt managers agreed a huge deal with the savvy bankers of US investment bank Goldman Sachs at the start of 2002. The deal involved so-called cross-currency swaps in which government debt issued in dollars and yen was swapped for euro debt for a certain period -- to be exchanged back into the original currencies at a later date.

IRS Official Refuses To Testify

An IRS official will reportedly refuse to testify about political targeting.
Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening — or why she didn’t disclose it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor III. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday.
Where are the handcuffs?
  • indict
  • arrest
  • prosecute
  • imprison
Where are the calls to abolish the income tax on people?

30-Year War

The over-riding purpose of the endless wars since 2001 is the eternal perpetuation of war.  War is no longer an extraordinary event.  War is now the common state of the nation.

Constant domestic surveillance and feeding the military-industrial complex.  This is how we want to live and spend our tax dollars?

A spokeswoman, Army Col. Anne Edgecomb, clarified that Sheehan meant the conflict is likely to last 10 to 20 more years from today - atop the 12 years that the conflict has already lasted.

Where Are The Indictments

Acting like we are in East Germany in the 1970s, the USA government got phone records of reporters.  Which government employees signed off on the letters that would be needed to get these phone records?  Where are the indictments and who will go to prison?

Lawmakers from both parties sharply questioned the Justice Department over its reported effort to secretly obtain two months of phone records from Associated Press journalists, with House Speaker John Boehner’s office saying “they better have a damned good explanation.”

Will anything happen by either party?  Of course not!  The two parties are there to maintain their power over the people, not to help the people.  The sooner voters understand this fact, the sooner they will vote for 3rd-party candidates in large numbers.

Government Sees Every American As Terrorist

Rather than chasing terrorists, or following up on leads on terrorists, the government has turned the surveillance state toward law-abiding Americans engaged in peaceful protest.

Russia twice warned about the suspects in the recent Boston Marathon bombing.  Boston Police and federal intelligence agencies instead focused their resources on peaceful Wall Street protests.

Investigators spy on peaceful protestors and ignore Russian warnings:
In the fall of 2011, a key Boston police counterterror intelligence unit -- funded with millions of dollars in U.S. homeland security grants -- was closely monitoring anti-Wall Street demonstrations, including tracking the Facebook pages and websites of the protesters and writing reports on the potential impact on "commercial and financial sector assets" in downtown areas, according to internal police documents.
The police monitoring of the activities of Occupy Boston -- an off-shoot of the Occupy Wall Street protests that swept the country in 2011 -- came during a period after the U.S. government received the second of two warnings from the Russian government about the radical Islamic ties of alleged Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
... monitoring was an example of the “vast expenditure of government money” to collect intelligence on activities unrelated to terrorism, in violation of First Amendment rights.

 FBI monitors peaceful protestors:
[T]he FBI treated the Occupy movement as a potential criminal and terrorist threat even though the agency acknowledges in documents that organizers explicitly called for peaceful protest and did “not condone the use of violence” at occupy protests.
“This production, which we believe is just the tip of the iceberg, is a window into the nationwide scope of the FBI’s surveillance, monitoring, and reporting on peaceful protestors organizing with the Occupy movement,” stated Mara Verheyden-Hilliard...  “These documents show that the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security are treating protests against the corporate and banking structure of America as potential criminal and terrorist activity.  These documents also show these federal agencies functioning as a de facto intelligence arm of Wall Street and Corporate America.

While Occupy Wall Street was composed mostly of independent and Democratic voters, Tea Parties were typically composed of Republicans and some independent voters.  Bringing equal opportunity to government spying and harassment, the IRS targeted Tea Party groups for special investigation:

Internal Revenue Service workers between 2010 and 2012 singled out groups with "Tea Party" and "Patriots" in their name for extra scrutiny of their applications for tax-exempt status.
... In some instances, the workers asked for donor lists, which violated laws.
The IRS lied to attempt to cover up the political targeting:
When the question was put to the IRS, the agency denied it. At a House Ways and Means subcommittee hearing in March 2012, Commissioner Douglas Shulman insisted that "There's absolutely no targeting. This is the kind of back and forth that happens to people" if they want to get tax-exempt status.

Will there be indictments for government employees breaking the law?  Does anyone still believe the government is protecting Americans or protecting big government budgets?

It's not about left versus right, it's about big government versus you.

Missile Launch Fears

Last month, Fox News fanned the flames of fear about North Korea's missile capabilities with many article such as:
North Koreans mark major national holiday amid missile launch fears
and
North Korea moves missiles from launch site, senior US official says

now the rest of the story is revealed. The long range missiles on display in parades have been widely recognized as fakes.

Where is Fox News to revise their reporting... on to the next fake crisis.

All Your Phone Are Belong To Us

Intelligence agencies scoop up everything they can, including all domestic phone calls.  While this activity is illegal, they claim the recordings are not accessed.  Of course the recordings are accessed.  That is the purpose of making the recordings.  The government wants to know everything all of the time.  Who is the enemy?

The real capabilities and behavior of the US surveillance state are almost entirely unknown to the American public because, like most things of significance done by the US government, it operates behind an impenetrable wall of secrecy.

On Wednesday night, Burnett interviewed Tim Clemente, a former FBI counterterrorism agent, about whether the FBI would be able to discover the contents of past telephone conversations between the two. He quite clearly insisted that they could:
BURNETT: Tim, is there any way, obviously, there is a voice mail they can try to get the phone companies to give that up at this point. It's not a voice mail. It's just a conversation. There's no way they actually can find out what happened, right, unless she tells them?
CLEMENTE: "No, there is a way. We certainly have ways in national security investigations to find out exactly what was said in that conversation. It's not necessarily something that the FBI is going to want to present in court, but it may help lead the investigation and/or lead to questioning of her. We certainly can find that out.

The FBI won't want to present it in court, because it is illegal and unconstitutional to do what they are doing.

Benghzai Cover-Up, Foreign Aid Abuse

The government is preventing those of knowledge of the Benhazi attack from producing evidence.  There are multiple articles explaining how whistleblowers are being prevented from speaking.  What is the government hiding?

CBS News reports:
The attorney for a whistleblower on the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, says the Obama administration is impeding efforts to allow her client and other whistleblowers to speak.
...
The House Oversight Committee says the State Department's restrictive access to Benghazi documents has been an ongoing problem.

What if our foreign policy is wasteful and harms freedom?  Maybe we should investigate foreign aid abuse, as suggested by Rand Paul:
Stories of bags of cash being dropped off by the CIA on the desks of foreign regimes seems to have reached the ears of Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.).
...
Several former Afghan government officials report the regular appearance and disappearance of sacks full of CIA “ghost money” in and out of the offices of President Hamid Karzai.
...
Former World Bank senior economist William Easterly estimates that World Bank and IMF loans “actually boosted poverty worldwide by a total of 14 million people.”

Obamacare Enriches Doctors

Rather than saving money, Obamacare is going to make medical companies even richer.  The mandates in Obamacare will require testing, thus increasing the cost of medical care.

The change, published on Monday in the Annals of Internal Medicine, will likely trigger coverage for the tests as a preventive service under the Affordable Care Act. Under President Barack Obama's healthcare law, insurers are required to cover preventive services that are recommended by the task force.

"Now, hopefully they will go back and re-categorize that and recommend that it will be covered for every adult."

State Sponsored Terrorism

The US has been invading countries and bombing civilians for twelve years, in an effort to stop terrorism.  Are we missing the real terrorists that are sponsored by countries?  What about the Saudis who were involved with the 9/11 terrorism?  Why hasn't the US invaded Saudi Arabia?

Saudi Government Linked to 9/11 Attacks
Two former senators – one a 9/11 Commissioner, the other the co-chair of the joint Congressional inquiry into 9/11 – state in sworn declarations that the Saudi government backed the 9/11 attack.

“I am convinced that there was a direct line between at least some of the terrorists who carried out the September 11th attacks and the government of Saudi Arabia,” former Senator Bob Graham, Democrat of Florida, said in an affidavit...

What if parts of the US government are actually protecting the hijackers and Saudi Arabia?

The Co-Chair of the Congressional Inquiry into 9/11 and former Head of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Bob Graham, previously stated that an FBI informant had hosted and rented a room to two hijackers in 2000 and that, when the Inquiry sought to interview the informant, the FBI refused outright, and then hid him in an unknown location, and that a high-level FBI official stated these blocking maneuvers were undertaken under orders from the White House.

“In the final report of the congressional inquiry, there was a chapter related primarily to the Saudi role in 9/11 that was totally censored, every word of the chapter has been withheld from the public,” Graham said...

Bob Kerrey of Nebraska, a Democrat who served on the separate 9/11 Commission, said in a sworn affidavit of his own in the case that “significant questions remain unanswered” about the role of Saudi institutions. “Evidence relating to the plausible involvement of possible Saudi government agents in the September 11th attacks has never been fully pursued,” Mr. Kerrey said.

The US government is protecting the Saudis.  Why did the US government not fully pursue evidence leading to Saudi Arabia?  Why is the US government continuing to block investigation of Saudi sponsored terrorism?  Why did the US invade Iraq, on false pretenses of WMDs, when the evidence pointed at Saudi Arabia?  Why is the Obama Justice Department protecting the Saudis?

Washington has continued to stand behind Saudi Arabia publicly, with the Justice Department joining the kingdom in trying to have the lawsuits thrown out of court ...

Trusted Workers Bypass Airport Security

In our world of make-believe security, the "trusted" airport workers don't go through security screening.  They literally walk around security, often through special doors not seen by the traveling public, carrying oversized bottles of liquids and backpacks full of anything.  What happens when these trusted employees start carrying packages of drugs?  What happens if one of the TSA employees is blackmailed into carrying a package through the no-security doors?  People, even those who previously had security clearances, can and do bad things.  As the following article states,"Sometimes, unfortunately, humans do some really stupid things".

Airline, Airport Employees Caught Abusing Security Badges
[A worker used] his badge to put his family in a van at a cargo facility and then drive them across the airport ramp to terminal E.  They were caught entering the terminal after a police officer "heard children laughing" on the airport ramp.
[A] flight attendant was caught sneaking a backpack through an employee entrance and giving it to her husband boarding a flight ...

Who still thinks the naked scans, groping, and violation of 4th Amendment rights protects us in the airline system?  The fake TSA security is an expensive fraud.  Real security would exempt no one from the screening process.  Either there is security for everyone, or there is security for no one.

Chance To Serve My Country

Shortly after 9/11, Sibel Edmonds was recruited by the FBI.  She quickly saw bungling, incompetence, and serious coverups.  She reported what she saw and was harassed, fired, and gagged.

A couple must listen interviews with her.  In the first interview, she says her recruitment into the US intelligence community was "My chance to serve my country."

While most of this happened under the Bush administration, under the Obama administration the FBI suggested she removed any references to Obama.

Check out Sibel Edmonds' blog.

White House Knew Of Torture

Dick Cheney and the White House knew of prisoner torture.  Prisoners have not been released under Obama to keep them quiet.

Ex-Bush Official Willing to Testify Bush, Cheney Knew Gitmo Prisoners Innocent
Rumsfeld knowingly lied, according to a former top Bush administration official.  And so did then Vice President Dick Cheney ...
Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, who was chief of staff to former Secretary of State Colin Powell during George W. Bush's first term in office, said Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld knew the "vast majority" of prisoners captured in the so-called War on Terror were innocent and the administration refused to set them free once those facts were established because of the political repercussions that would have ensued.
