Fukushima Ocean Debris To Reach USA

The tsunami in Japan washed irradiated debris out to sea. That debris field, the size of California, is nearing the USA.

The fact that no federal agency is preparing for this huge wave of radiated garbage shows just how insane the leaders of this once great country have become.

A massive debris field the size of California that is surely fully radiated is on its way to the west coast ...

Federal Worker Pay Increases

Why are elite banksters and federal government employee paychecks increasing faster than working American's paychecks?

Fast & Furious Planned To Remove 2nd Amendment

Federal government agents discussed using their "Fast & Furious" illegal gun sales to Mexico to increase violence as an excuse to trick Americans into giving up their 2nd amendment rights.

If American is to survive, we must see criminal indictments of these rogue federal agents.

Criminal charges against Eric Holder
CBS national news printed new details about Department of Justice operation "Fast & Furious." Internal memos show that agents actually discussed using the operation as a "false flag" to justify taking away the 2nd amendment rights of US citizens.

Congress is currently investigating Fast & Furious. Attorney General Eric Holder has already been caught making at least one false statement under oath.
...
Texas Congressman Ron Paul became the first GOP president candidate to call for criminal charges against Eric Holder.

TSA Confusion

TSA confused a gun emblem on a purse with an actual gun, causing a teenager to miss her flight.  TSA is out of control.

Teen stopped at airport for design on purse
... the Transportation Security Administration stopped her at the security gate because of the design of a gun on her handbag.
...

"She was like, 'This is a federal offense because it's in the shape of a gun,'" Gibbs said. "I'm like, 'But it's a design on a purse. How is it a federal offense?'"
After agents figured out the gun was a fake, Gibbs said, TSA told her to check the bag or turn it over.

TSA Going To Time-Out

The TSA is heading to "time out" with other misbehaving boys and girls.  TSA are pretending to be police with their pretend "officer" costumes.

The Stop TSA’s Reach In Policy, or STRIP, Act introduced Thursday, would prohibit TSA employees “who have not received federal law enforcement training” from using the title of “officer,” as well as bar them from wearing uniforms and badges resembling those of law enforcement officers.
...
“It is outrageous that in a post 9/11 world that the American people should have to live in fear of those whose job it is to keep us safe,” Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), the bill’s lead sponsor, said in a statement. “The least we can do is end this impersonation which is an insult to real cops.”

MF Global's Jon Corzine Is Connected

Jon Corzine, who directed the implosion of MF Global and theft of customer money, was the prior Governor of New Jersey.  Jon Corzine was a big Obama fundraiser.  We now learn Corzine had Bill Clinton on his payroll.

This is simply paying for political access.  Since Corzine didn't have the required financial approvals to be running a financial firm, his political connections allowed for him to bypass the rules.  Jon Corzine is the 1%; his being a Democrat is not relevant to theft of customer funds and political influence.

Clinton Collected $50K Per Month From MF Global
A former MF Global employee accused former president William J. Clinton of collecting $50,000 per month through his Teneo advisory firm in the months before the brokerage careened towards its Halloween filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Coldest Tucson

Tucson recorded the coldest recorded weather in modern times.  Is this part of global warming or does this indicate cooling?

Cold Weather Affecting Tucson Water Customers
According to Fernando Molina, Public Information Officer for Tucson Water, the extreme cold has caused electronic control instrumentation at various reservoir and booster sites to malfunction, automatically shutting down pumps.

Police Become Military

The military is so over-funded they are giving military hardware to local police forces in the USA.  Free.

Average Americans do not want to live in militarized cities.  If the Department of Defense has too much money for hardware, maybe they can return those funds to reduce the national debt.

"1033 Program" that gave more than $500 million of military gear to US police in 2011 alone.  This upswing coincides with an increasingly military-like style of law-enforcement most recently seen in the Occupy Wall Street crackdowns.

Tim Lynch, director of the Cato Institute's project on criminal justice told The Daily, “The trend toward militarization was well under way before 9/11, but it’s the federal policy of making surplus military equipment available almost for free that has poured fuel on this fire.”

Iceland Recovers

Ireland use the taxpayers to bail out bad bets by banks.  Iceland told the bankers to take their losses.  While Ireland struggles under unpayable debt, Iceland recovers

The following title should more accurately be "Iceland on mend because of refusal to bail out banks".

Iceland on mend in spite of refusal to bail out banks
A report from the IMF that lent the country $2.1 billion said that Iceland is experiencing a moderate recovery, unemployment is declining and the government was able to return to the capital markets earlier this year.

"He Was Murdered"

This person served two tours in Iraq.  The police could have easily picked him up with a traffic stop as he was going to work, and later serve a search warrant on the house.  Instead, the police pulled out their riot gear, smashed in the front door of the house with guns drawn, and killed him.  This is senseless government brutality and senseless loss of life.

SWAT team's shooting of Marine causes outrage
...
Kevin Stephens, a chief steward at Mission mine and head of the miners' union there, said bluntly: "Personally, I think he was murdered, and that is the feeling that is out here."
...
But after examining elements of the search affidavit, Drago questioned whether the sheriff's office truly had probable cause.
"When you back up and look at why they're there in the first place and whether the search warrant was proper, my mind starts struggling," Drago said. "There are a lot of things that don't make a lot of sense."

USA Gun Running Cover-Up

The USA operated a gun-running program to illegally put guns in the hands of Mexican gangs.  Mexico wants to put several Americans involved in the gun smuggling on trial in Mexico.
Mexico Asks U.S. to Extradite ‘Fast and Furious” Gunrunners

One of the weapons in the illegal gun smuggling program was used to kill a US border guard.  The people who killed the agent have been indicted to stand trial for the murder.  The entire federal murder case has disappeared.  "The case against the alleged killers of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry has disappeared from federal court records, apparently sealed by a federal judge."

The highest levels of the USA government are involved in illegal gun smuggling which resulted in the death of a US border agent.  The murder case that would prosecute the people who killed the agent has disappeared.  This is outrageous!

Housing Bailout At Taxpayer Expense

The home loan guarantee company Fannie Mae is in need of billions more in taxpayer bailouts.  It appears taxpayers will continue to provide bailouts.  Forever.

Fannie Mae taps $7.8 billion from Treasury, loss widens
Fannie Mae, the biggest source of money for U.S. home loans, on Tuesday said it needed a further $7.8 billion in federal aid to stay afloat as a shaky housing market widened its third-quarter loss to $5.1 billion.

False Terror

The US government is targeting and entrapping people, in order to create a climate of fear.  NYU School of Law released a report documenting some of the abuses.
The government played a significant role
in instigating and devising the three plots
featured in this Report—plots the government
then “foiled” and charged the defendants
with. The defendants in these cases were all
convicted and are facing prison sentences
of 25 years to life. These prosecutions—and
others that similarly rely on the abusive use of
informants—are central to the government’s

claim that the country faces a “homegrown
threat” of terrorism. Serious questions have
been raised about the government’s role
in each of these cases, as well as around
the set of laws that have facilitated these
practices.

The report is available here.

Occupy Wall Street: Obama In Effigy

Occupy Wall Street may be waking up to the reality that both parties - Republican and Democrat - are two wings of the same bird of prey.

NYC Occupy Wall Street hoisted an unflattering Obama effigy:

Roger Waters says, "The situation has been allowed to develop in this country where the great block of people in the middle who used to call themselves the middle class; there circumstances have been reduced to the point where suddenly some of them find themselves sleeping in their cars.  ...   Why aren't people going to prison?"

Guns Aren't TSA Problem

Many of thought the TSA would be interested in guns, particularly loaded guns. Apparently not.

Loaded guns in checked bags aren't on TSA's radar
... an undeclared, loaded .38-caliber handgun went undetected from the airport and almost onto an Alaska Airlines flight to Portland. It was discovered by ramp workers, who said the gun fell out of a duffel bag as they were about to load it on the plane.

At first, the incident appeared to a be a breakdown of LAX's extensive weapons detection system.

But Transportation Security Administration officials said they are not required to screen for loaded weapons in checked luggage, only in carry-on luggage. TSA spokesman Nico Melendez said the duffel bag in question went through an explosives scanner, as do all checked bags. It did not generate an alert.

Federal Grant for Fake Fish

The federal government, specifically the USDA, has given a private company $494,000 to improve the market acceptance of genetically modified salmon. People don't want to buy GMO salmon, so why is the government spending taxpayer funds on furthering fake meat:

US Forced To Leave Iraq

There has been widespread news reports that troops will be leaving Iraq. Largely unreported has been the negotiations with the Iraqi government to try to allow US troops to stay longer. The Iraqi government refused to extend the US troop presence, so the US is being to leave Iraq.

U.S. Troop Withdrawal Motivated by Iraqi Insistence, Not U.S. Choice
President Obama’s speech formally declaring that the last 43,000 U.S. troops will leave Iraq by the end of the year was designed to mask an unpleasant truth: The troops aren’t being withdrawn because the U.S. wants them out. They’re leaving because the Iraqi government refused to let them stay.

Iran, War, 1953

US media and politicians are beginning to pound the war drums against Iran. Who thinks Iran is capable of attacking the US?

In 1953, the CIA overthrew the democratically elected government in Iran.

Protest America

The Occupy Wall Street movement may be misinformed by attacking a symptom of the problem. Nevertheless, they do have some good points such as all debt, including student loans, should be dis-chargeable in bankruptcy.

Government Banking Rip-Off Continues

Fannie and Freddie have nearly all of the mortgage market. Being backstopped by government money, there is no other competition.

Why did Fannie and Freddie send over 150 people to a finance industry junket and party? Fannie and Freddie also sponsored the event, ultimately at taxpayer expense.

The New York Times has the story on Fannie and Freddie wasting taxpayer money:
It might seem jarring that Freddie, which was rescued by Washington and today exists at the pleasure of taxpayers, paid $80,000 to become a “platinum” sponsor of this shindig. Fannie Mae, that other ward of the state, paid $60,000 to become a “gold” sponsor.

Keep in mind that taxpayers bailed out Fannie and Freddie to the tune of about $150 billion.

Today, Fannie and Freddie are about the only games in mortgage town. Yes, banks make loans, but more often than not they hand them off to one of the two. So it’s a mystery why Fannie and Freddie needed to help foot the bill for the gathering.

CIA Spies On New Yorkers

Peaceful protests are allowed and protected by the 1st amendment to the constitution. Why is the federal government's overseas spy agency, the CIA, spying on Americans in New York City?

CBS news has the story on CIA spying in New York City:
Three months ago, one of the CIA's most experienced clandestine operatives started work inside the New York Police Department. His title is special assistant to the deputy commissioner of intelligence. On that much, everyone agrees.
...
The CIA is prohibited from spying domestically, and its unusual partnership with the NYPD has troubled top lawmakers and prompted an internal investigation.
...
All of this has troubled lawmakers, including Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., the chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, who has said the CIA has "no business or authority in domestic spying, or in advising the NYPD how to conduct local surveillance."

Sheriffs Against Gun Smuggling

Sheriffs in Arizona are against gun smuggling by our federal government! When will these federal criminal be indicted?

Arizona sheriffs blast gun-smuggling operation
Ten Arizona sheriffs slammed the Obama administration on Friday over a botched federal operation that that lost track of up to 1,400 weapons sold to suspected straw purchasers for Mexican drug gangs.

The sheriffs called for the president to launch an independent investigation and for Attorney General Eric Holder to step down or be fired. They also said the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives' 2009 operation, known as "Fast and Furious," was a betrayal of state law enforcement.

Veterans Disarmament

The military is trained with weapons and fights for America. Upon returning home, they may find they are unwanted.

Gun Owners of America
reports on an effort to disarm veterans:
The Military Order of the Purple Heart is opposed to the McCarthy-Leahy bill, having stated on June 18 of this year, that "For the first time the legislation, if enacted, would statutorily impose a lifetime gun ban on battle-scarred veterans."

Military veterans are justifiably concerned that this bill will legitimize the very thing that President Clinton did over seven years ago, when his administration added 83,000 names of veterans -- suffering from maladies such as PTSD -- into the NICS background check system.

Nobel Prize Winner Says No Global Warming

A Nobel prize winner is publicly refuting the cult of man-made global warming:

Dr. Ivar Giaever, a former professor with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the 1973 winner

of the Nobel Prize in physics, abruptly announced his resignation Tuesday, Sept. 13, from the premier physics society in disgust over its officially stated policy that "global warming is occurring."

...

"The claim … is that the temperature has changed from ~288.0 to ~288.8 degree Kelvin in about 150 years, which (if true) means to me is that the temperature has been amazingly stable, and both human health and happiness have definitely improved in this 'warming' period," his email message said.

Robert Applebaum Has A Bad Dream

MoveOn.org is hosting a moron petition by Robert Applebaum. The petition title is "Want a Real Economic Stimulus and Jobs Plan? Forgive Student Loan Debt!"

Robert Applebaum is full-on retarded. Why not sends checks to everyone in America, like Bush did, instead of those who got in over their heads with student loans?

Or if you want to fix the unaffordable higher education costs, a couple actions will quickly do the job:
1) allow bankruptcy to discharge this debt (instead of allowing permanent debt slavery)
2) remove the government guarantee on the debt

Fake Town; Wasted Money

In the continuing theater of the government of the absurd, the government will spend taxpayer money to build a 20 mile miniature fake city. The fake city will be used as a testing ground to spend even more taxpayer money.

This article calls it a "science project". I call it "government sponsored waste".
Although no one will live there, the replica city will be modeled after a typical American town of 35,000 people, complete with highways, houses and commercial buildings, old and new.

Taxpayers Pay Off Obama Donors

The federal government guaranteed loans to a company that had owners who were major contributors to Obama's 2008 campaign. The company owners took big salaries and bankrupted the company. The taxpayers are on the hook for the loan.

USA Political Prisoners

The USA, like China, has political prisoners. This 70-year-old attorney was jailed 14 months without being charged with a crime. His offense was to speak out about court corruption and judicial bribes:

"I ended up here because I did the one thing no other lawyer in California is willing to do. I took on the corruption of the courts," Fine said in a jailhouse interview with CNN.

For the last decade, Fine has filed appeal after appeal against Los Angeles County's Superior Court judges. He says the judges each accept what he calls yearly "bribes" from the county worth $57,000. That's on top of a $178,789 annual salary, paid by the state. The county calls the extra payments "supplemental benefits" -- a way to attract and retain quality judges in a high-cost city.

Bankers Get To Buy Our Cheap Houses

After the US taxpayer bailed out the banks, the banks have continued to foreclose on the taxpayer's homes. The losses on those homes have been transferred to the government (the people) via Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

The federal government is going to sell those homes, in bulk, back to the bank for pennies on the dollar.

The giant financial scam continues:
The largest transfer of wealth from the public to private sector is about to begin. The federal government will be bulk-selling the massive portfolio of foreclosed homes now owned by HUD, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to private investors -- vulture funds.

These homes, which are now the property of the U.S. government, the U.S. taxpayer, U.S. citizens collectively, are going to be sold to private investor conglomerates at extraordinarily large discounts to real value.

You and I will not be allowed to participate.

Aristocracy Gets $1.2 Trillion Taxpayer Secret Loans

The private cartel central bank "Federal Reserve" could have paid everyone's mortgage. Instead they bailed out their banker friends.

Wall Street Aristocracy Got $1.2 Trillion in Secret Loans
Fed Chairman Ben S. Bernanke’s unprecedented effort to keep the economy from plunging into depression included lending banks and other companies as much as $1.2 trillion of public money, about the same amount U.S. homeowners currently owe on 6.5 million delinquent and foreclosed mortgages.

“These are all whopping numbers,” said Robert Litan, a former Justice Department official who in the 1990s served on a commission probing the causes of the savings and loan crisis. “You’re talking about the aristocracy of American finance going down the tubes without the federal money.”

Justice Department Aids Cocaine Smuggling

Documents filed in a court case in Chicago allege the US Justice Department conspired with Mexican drug cartels to allow "tons" of cocaine to enter the US. With the government allegedly conspiring to allow drug running, why bother with any drug laws? Apparently drug laws don't apply to the US government.
The cartel is accused of murders, gunrunning, drug smuggling, bribery of public officials and attacks on police.

The Justice Department gave the Sinaloa cartel’s leaders “carte blanche to continue to smuggle tons of illicit drugs into Chicago and the rest of the United States,” according to pre-trial documents filed by Zambada’s attorneys.

Higher Radiation Leaks In Japan

The radiation leaking from the broken nuclear power plants in Japan is getting worse.  There has been little action to stop the leaks which will contaminate the air, the land, and the oceans.  It seems most Americans have already forgotten about the radiation problem in Japan.

Geiger counters, used to detect radioactivity, registered more than 10 sieverts an hour, the highest reading the devices are able to record, Junichi Matsumoto, a general manager at the utility, said today. The measurements were taken at the base of the main ventilation stack for reactors No. 1 and No. 2.

Katrina Victims

Families and friends of those murdered by police in the wake of the Katrina hurricane finally saw criminal convictions.  When government employees with guns commit murder, who can you trust?
A FEDERAL JURY in the US has convicted five current or former police officers of involvement in deadly shootings on a New Orleans bridge after Hurricane Katrina.

All five officers were convicted of charges stemming from the cover-up of the shootings. Local news station WDSU reports that four of the defendants were convicted of civil rights violations.

There is widespread belief that police cover up their illegal actions. If those who enforce the law can't be trusted, societal norms can rapidly break down. This is of great concern to those who desire to live in a society based on the rule of law.
Faulcon, Gisevius, Bowen and Villavaso were convicted in the shootings and with taking part in the alleged cover-up. Kaufman, who investigated the shootings, was charged only in the alleged cover-up.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Theodore Carter said in closing arguments earlier this week that police had no justification for shooting unarmed, defenseless people trying to cross the bridge in search of food and help mere days after Katrina struck.

Faulcon, the only defendant to testify, said he was “paralyzed with fear” when he shot and killed a 40-year-old mentally disabled man, Ronald Madison, as he chased him and his brother, Lance Madison.

Faulcon didn’t dispute that he shot an unarmed man in the back, but he testified that he had believed Ronald Madison was armed and posed a threat.

Polar Bear Population Increases

Global warming alarmists have claimed the polar bears will die due to melting ice.  A US government agency has found the worldwide polar bear population has increased.  With the global warming extremists turn down their rhetoric?

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service estimates that the polar bear population is currently at 20,000 to 25,000 bears, up from as low as 5,000-10,000 bears in the 1950s and 1960s.

Scottish scientist Dr. Chad Dick, of the Norwegian Polar Institute in Tromso, after researching the log books of Arctic explorers spanning the past 300 years, believes the outer edge of sea ice may expand and contract over regular periods of 60 to 80 years. According to his research findings, he concluded, "the recent worrying changes in Arctic sea ice are simply the result of standard cyclical movements, and not a harbinger of major climate change."

Global Warming Alarmism

This article, published by the University of Alabama, describes analysis of NASA data and concludes that global warming assumptions are incorrect.

A University of Alabama press release says climate change forecasts are wrong:
The previously unexplained differences between model-based forecasts of rapid global warming and meteorological data showing a slower rate of warming have been the source of often contentious debate and controversy for more than two decades.
...
"The satellite observations suggest there is much more energy lost to space during and after warming than the climate models show," Spencer said. "There is a huge discrepancy between the data and the forecasts that is especially big over the oceans."
Not only does the atmosphere release more energy than previously thought, it starts releasing it earlier in a warming cycle.

Paul Krugman Is A Moron

Paul Krugman is an economic moron who is consistently wrong. In an amazing display of stupidity, Paul Krugman agrees that conservatives are to blame for the rising gold price.
It’s also conceivable that a good advertising campaign by gold producers could be enough to move the price of gold. Imagine that an effective, sustained advertising campaign, targeted at wealthy, conservative individuals in the US, is able to persuade 25,000 of them per month to switch a portion of their financial assets into gold.

Ruling Class Hypocrites

While the elite ruling class legislators vote to restrict guns, those same legislators use guns to defend themselves, their families, and their homes. Why does the elite ruling class vote for restrictions for us while hypocritically using the tools they try to deny the common people?

Boswell comes from a long-line of Ruling Class hypocrites who have told the American people that they don’t need guns, even while they rely on their own guns for protection:

* Who can forget columnist Carl Rowan who said that anyone found with a gun “should go to jail, period,” but then he later used his own (illegal) handgun to shoot a non-violent teenager who was skinny-dipping in his pool;

* Or actress Rosie O’Donnell who also thinks people should go to prison for owning guns, but then hired armed security guards to protect her children -- a pricey option which is unavailable for most Americans.

J.P. Morgan manipulated the municipal bond market for eight years. JPM paid a small fine and will avoid being banded from the markets or from criminal charges. Apparently the rule of criminal law doesn't apply to most-favored bankers like J.P. Morgan.

SEC Charges J. P. Morgan Securities with Fraudulent Bidding Practices Involving Investment of Municipal Bond Proceeds

“JPMS improperly won bids by entering into secret arrangements with bidding agents to get an illegal 'last look' at competitors’ bids,” said Robert Khuzami, Director of the SEC's Division of Enforcement.

The SEC alleges that from 1997 through 2005, JPMS’s fraudulent practices, misrepresentations and omissions undermined the competitive bidding process, affected the prices that municipalities paid for reinvestment products, and deprived certain municipalities of a conclusive presumption that the reinvestment instruments had been purchased at fair market value. JPMS’s fraudulent conduct also jeopardized the tax-exempt status of billions of dollars in municipal securities because the supposed competitive bidding process that establishes the fair market value of the investment was corrupted.

Fluoride Harms Children

Why do we continue to pay extra for municipal water suppliers to purchase toxic flouride?

Florida Vote Fraud?

In a recent release, a hacker posted internal data from the Florida voting database. With this much insecurity, the hacker asks if electronic voting should be trusted. "Why trust them at all?"

That is a reasonable question. Why trust electronic voting systems that have their computer code hidden from the public? How many back doors for fraud are in the systems? How can a reliable electronic record be kept by software that is not peer-reviewed?

ATF Chief Walks

For illegally providing firearms that were used to murder a US agent, a person should stand trial on criminal charges.

In this case, the government employee responsible for providing those weapons gets a slap on the wrist by possibly being fired. For any other person, the following headline would read: Kenneth Melson Indicted For Murder And Firearm Trafficing

Head of ATF Is Likely to Go
The Justice Department is expected to oust the head of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, according to people familiar with the matter, amid a troubled federal antitrafficking operation that has grown into the agency's biggest scandal in nearly two decades.

Earlier this year, government criminal Kenneth Melson refused to testify in front of Congress.

Democrats Sue Obama For Breaking Law

Democrats and others are suing President Obama for his illegal military action in Libya. The War Powers Act allows for 90 days of military action, and any more requires a Congressional authorization.

I thought Obama, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, was going to be the peace President. If Obama is going to continue Bush's policy of continuous war, he should at least follow our laws while doing so.

Lawmakers sue President Obama over Libya

Importing Coke

Natural News has an article about how the DEA allows a special exemption to import cocoa leaves into the USA. Special companies get special rules.

Coca-Cola still imports coca leaves which are used to manufacture cocaine in the United States

Student Loan Leads To SWAT Team

A husband's estranged wife had a student loan in default. The federal government used that as an excuse to use a SWAT team to break into his house, with children present, and harass the family. The estranged wife was not there.

The local police participated with a police presence. Why is the federal government putting children at risk of harm, by breaking into their house, for a simple debt?

Education officials break down Stockton man's door
The U.S. Department of Education issued the search and called in the S.W.A.T for his wife's defaulted student loans.

"They busted down my door for this," Wright said. "It wasn't even me."

The Office of the Inspector General has a law enforcement branch of federal agents that carry out search warrants and investigations.

Stockton Police Department said it was asked by federal agents to provide one officer and one patrol car just for a police presence when carrying out the search warrant.

Miami Criminals Confiscate News Camera

Criminals in Miami Florida shoot a person, then confiscate a news camera that was recording the incident.

The criminals work for the Miami city police.
Miami Beach police confiscated the camera of a Local 10 news videographer during the chaotic moments after they shot and killed a man on Memorial Day, making that at least two cameras they seized after the controversial shooting.

Neither criminals nor criminal police nor police have authority to confiscate cameras. If they need a camera for evidence, they can ask a judge to issue a warrant.

Homeowner Forecloses On Bank Of America

After attempting to foreclose on the wrong house, the homeowner got a judgment against Bank of America for damages. Bank of America refused to pay the judgment, so the homeowner, with the help of the local Sheriff, foreclosed on a Bank of America branch office.

An hour later the branch manager paid the judgment.

$2 Million Logo For Government

US Government Attorney Lies To Canada

In an illegal harassment to protect Cisco Systems, a US government attorney deceived Canada. In an extraordinary move, Canada has refused to extradite the target of harassment to the US. Apparently the person was being harassed to have him drop a civil suit against Cisco Systems.

Justice McKinnon said if Canada had known the true facts, it would not have proceeded.

“Almost nothing in the U.S. attorney’s letter was true,” Adekeye’s lawyer Marilyn Sandford said Thursday.

McKinnon said the false material duped B.C. Supreme Court Justice Peter Leask into issuing an arrest warrant ...

He said the material from the Americans was full of innuendo, half-truths and falsehoods.

Sandford called the U.S. conduct Kafkaesque.

Justice McKinnon said little of what the Americans told Ottawa was true — and the supposed criminal conduct cited in their request was actually a trivial dispute that was part of the bigger legal civil battle between Adekeye and the $7-billion computer firm.

Taxpayers Financing Cars

Thanks to admitted tax cheat Tim Geithner (Treasury Secretary) bailing out GM's financial arm, the US taxpayers are providing financing for new cars and raise the financing amount on used cars.

This is going to be another taxpayer-financed disaster while the bankers continue to get paid.

(Reuters) - Ally Financial Inc, the United States' largest maker of car loans, hopes that people have forgotten the time when "subprime" became a synonym for "disaster."
...
It has said it wants to raise the percentage of auto loans on used cars that it makes to 50 percent from its current 20 percent.
...
Ally is the kind of company that "will likely need to call for the government's financial ambulance at some point in the future," said James Ellman, a hedge fund portfolio manager at Seacliff Capital in San Francisco. "I don't know if it is sooner, or later, but it will happen."
...
The government's ambulance came for Ally three times during the financial crisis as Ally's book of subprime mortgages collapsed. Taxpayers injected more than $17 billion into the company, which had assets of $287 billion in 2006 before loan values collapsed.

Those bailouts left the government holding a 74 percent stake in Ally ...

FDA Does Enforce, Doesn't Enforce

The FDA can't decide if it should enforce or not enforce it's own rules. One one hand, the FDA set up a sting operation to bust Amish farmers who have customers who voluntarily buy their unpasteurized milk.
A yearlong sting operation, including aliases, a 5 a.m. surprise inspection and surreptitious purchases from an Amish farm in Pennsylvania, culminated in the federal government announcing this week that it has gone to court to stop Rainbow Acres Farm from selling its contraband to willing customers in the Washington area.
The product in question: unpasteurized milk.

On the other hand, the FDA has refused to enforce it's own regulation about using low doses of antibiotics on livestock to allow the livestock to more readily be raised in unsanitary environments. While this practice has long been criticized for reducing the effectiveness of the antibiotics on humans, the practice has been ignored by the FDA for years.
In 2001, the Union of Concerned Scientists estimated that greater than 70% of the antibiotics used in the US are given to food animals (for example, chickens, pigs and cattle) in the absence of disease

The AMA also spoke out in 2001:
In an effort to slow the development of resistance, the American Medical Assn. (AMA) went on record last week in opposition to non-therapeutic uses of antibiotics in agriculture, particularly for those antibiotics also used to treat human illnesses.

The NRDC sued the FDA:
NRDC and our allies filed a lawsuit against the Food and Drug Administration to finally end the use of antibiotics in animal feed—a practice that’s contributing to the rise in drug-resistant superbugs and endangering the health of our families.

Roughly 70 percent of all antibiotics used in the United States are given to healthy farm animals to promote faster growth and compensate for unsanitary conditions. These cows, pigs, chickens, and turkeys receive doses too low to actually treat disease, but high enough to allow bacteria resistant to antibiotic treatment to survive and thrive.

Those bacteria don’t stay on the farm. They spread to humans and can lead to superbugs that are difficult or impossible to cure. ...

It is clear the FDA attacks threats to mega-corporate farming, even if the threat is a small Amish farm. At the same time, the FDA refuses to enforce regulations against the mega-corporate farms. Is the FDA for the people or for the corporations?

Inflation Arrives

Inflation continues. Consumers may want to stock up on non-perishables before prices go higher. Coffee drinkers, stock up now.

Police State Thugs

A person in Philadelphia was peacefully exercising his rights while shopping, when a police state thug approached and threatened him. After being threatened with bodily injury, cursed at, and unlawfully detained, he was released. Later he was charged by the police state District Attorney.

Philadelphia police and the District Attorney are conspiring as a gang of police state thugs. "To say he has to give up that right in order to stop being persecuted by the state, well, that doesn't sound like the America we want to live in."

Obama Supports Tepco Stock Price

It has been reported in the Japanese press that Obama has urged Japanese officials to support the stock price of the failed nuclear plant operator Tepco.

The steep drop in Tepco's stock price has already dealt a blow to investment funds in the United States. Nearly 20 percent of its stock is held by non-Japanese investors. This has reportedly led the Obama administration to urge the Kan government to take steps to prevent a further decline in Tepco stock.

Are there any more doubts about the sell-out of Obama in favor of corporatism?

Goldman Sachs Criminal Charges

Matt Taibbi wrote another great article on criminal actions in the finance industry, this time fingering Goldman Sachs for criminal charges. Will the Justice Department take action? If not, will the people take action?

Thanks to an extraordinary investigative effort by a Senate subcommittee that unilaterally decided to take up the burden the criminal justice system has repeatedly refused to shoulder, we now know exactly what Goldman Sachs executives like Lloyd Blankfein and Daniel Sparks lied about. We know exactly how they and other top Goldman executives, including David Viniar and Thomas Montag, defrauded their clients. America has been waiting for a case to bring against Wall Street. Here it is, and the evidence has been gift-wrapped and left at the doorstep of federal prosecutors, evidence that doesn't leave much doubt: Goldman Sachs should stand trial.

Looting Continues

A couple big banks reported perfect trading quarters,http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif with no losing days. If the banks can win every day, who is losing every day? This is a racket in which the big banks consistently fleece the people:
JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM), the second- largest U.S. bank by assets, joined Bank of America Corp. (BAC) in reporting a perfect trading period in the first quarter.

EPA Slows Radiation Testing

While the Japanese nuclear radiation releases are antihttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifcipated to continue for at least another three months, and while the EPA continues to find elevated radiation levels in food and water in the USA, the EPA has discontinued frequent radiation monitoring:

"Results from one drinking water and two precipitation samples detected low levels of radioactive material consistent with estimated releases from the damaged nuclear reactors."

"EPA has returned to the routine RadNet sampling and analysis process for precipitation, drinking water and milk."
"In accordance with normal RadNet protocol, EPA will be analyzing milk and drinking water samples on a quarterly basis and precipitation samples as part of a monthly composite. The next round of milk and drinking water sampling will take place in approximately three months."

The EPA's mission:
The mission of EPA is to protect human health and the environment.

EPA's purpose is to ensure that:
all Americans are protected from significant risks to human health and the environment where they live, learn and work; ...

Why has the EPA stopped monitoring for the continuing radiation risks? This looks like a way to avoid collecting data about harmful pollutants in food and water.

End The Bloody War

Portugal decriminalized drug possession ten years ago. Portugal now treats drug use as a medical rehabilitation issue and has found good results.

Mexico's President is advocating similar drug decriminalization.
Former Mexican President Vicente Fox believes the current strategies employed against Mexico's drug cartels are not working and he is advocating a different approach.

Speaking passionately about the issue, Fox said he has a team of experts tracking drug-related violence in Mexico. He is concerned the government crackdown and cartel violence that has left about 34,000 dead in the past 4 years is also affecting trade, investment, and tourism.

America's prison and law enforcement cartels will not accept decriminalization because it would threaten their easy money gravy train.

Monsanto Self-Regulates

Regulatory capture is when industry effectively control government regulators. The effect is to protect big companies while setting up barriers to entry for small companies. Protecting consumers is forgotten.

The USDA is admitting regulatory capture by allowing Monsanto to regulate itself:
The USDA is responsible for assessing environmental impacts of new GMO crops. The agency has been lax about this, to say the least. In 2005, the USDA gave Monsanto the go-ahead to unleash its sugar beets before preparing an Environmental Impact Statement. This decision eventually triggered a judge to rule that Monsanto sugar beet seedlings should be ripped from the ground.

Because the USDA is so bad at doing its job on time, the agency decided to see if anyone else was prepared to do its safety testing work instead. And so it looks like the USDA will at least temporarily hand over environmental impact reporting responsibilities to the biotech companies behind GMO crops. The pilot program will allow these companies to conduct their own environmental assessments of crops or outsource the work to contractors.

Government Drug Running, Part 2

In no surprise to anyone who has been awake the past ten years, those with special security to avoid screening have been accused of running drugs. Those drug runners include baggage handlers and the same TSA that gropes children while pretending to provide security.

Note the words "employee access to bypass security":
Complaints filed in federal court in Detroit — where nine defendants were ordered held behind bars until at least Friday — describe intricate drug-smuggling rings that used crude tactics, an exotic locale and employee access to bypass security and transport hundreds of pounds of illegal drugs to Detroit's streets.

Why do we have employees who can evade security? Is the security theater being exposed for the sham it is?

Government Drug Running

High-level Mexican drug runner claims he was working for USA:
A high-level player with one of the most notorious narco-trafficking organizations in Mexico, the Sinaloa “cartel,” claims that he has been working with the U.S. government for years, according to pleadings filed recently in federal court in Chicago.

Interesting items from the article:
... it is necessary to revisit the mysterious crash of a Gulfstream II corporate jet on Sept. 24, 2007, in Mexico’s Yucatan region. Onboard that jet was an estimated four tons of cocaine, which appears to have been loaded onto the jet in Colombia.
The Gulfstream II sported a tail number, N987SA, linked by European investigators to past CIA rendition operations.

Damy’s case also is tied intricately to another U.S. govermment legal action against banking giant Wachovia (now a subsidiary of Wells Fargo), which was implicated in the Damy money-laundering operation. The Sinaloa organization operative allegedly used the bank as part of his scheme.
Wachovia inked a deferred prosecution agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice in March 2010 in exchange for paying a monetary penalty of some $160 million and providing a promise of cooperation with the U.S. government.

In the early 1990s, the CIA ran a spook mission (the Guillen Episode referred to by Levine) allegedly designed to infiltrate Colombian narco-trafficking groups. The operation resulted in at least a ton of cocaine — some estimates put the figure much higher — entering the United States unchecked. The head of the DEA at the time, Robert Bonner, incensed at the CIA’s actions, which were carried out over DEA’s objections, went on national TV and essentially accused the CIA of engaging in drug trafficking.

Obama Escalates Libya Bombing

Bully Obama is escalating his attacks on Libya.

America turned up the heat on Colonel Gaddafi last night by approving the use of killer Predator drones in Libya.

Does anyone doubt the new boss is the same as the old boss? Obama is the same as Bush and has continued Bush's policies of meddling:
The U.S. money for Syrian opposition figures began flowing under President George W. Bush after political ties with Damascus were frozen in 2005, the newspaper said.

The financial backing has continued under President Barack Obama, even as his administration sought to rebuild relations with Assad, the Post said. In January, the White House posted an ambassador to Damascus for the first time in six years.

USPS Misplaces Statue of Liberty

USPS created a stamp with a picture of the Statue of Liberty. They used the Statue of Liberty replica in Las Vegas:
When the U.S. Postal Service printed 3 billion stamps last year, it thought the image was of the Statue of Liberty, the iconic symbol of freedom keeping watch over huddled masses yearning to breathe free.

But a sharp-eyed stamp collector uncovered the truth. The image on the 44-cent stamp was of a replica of the Statue of Liberty more than 2,000 miles away, keeping watch over throngs of sweaty Vegas tourists yearning to get rich.

Handing Rich People Money

Another great article on fraud for Wall Street. When will America wake up and End The Fed?

The Real Housewives of Wall Street
Why is the Federal Reserve forking over $220 million in bailout money to the wives of two Morgan Stanley bigwigs?
"People talk about how these were loans that were paid back," says a congressional aide who has studied the transactions. "But when the state is lending money at zero percent and the banks are turning around and lending that money back to the state at three percent, how is that different from just handing rich people money?"

U.S. Deficit to Rise to Largest Among Major Economies, IMF Says
The U.S. shortfall will reach 10.8 percent of its gross domestic product this year, ahead of Japan and the U.K., the Washington-based IMF said in a report released today. It estimates that President Barack Obama will need to cut the deficit by 5 percentage points of GDP in the next two fiscal years, the largest adjustment in “at least half a century,” to meet his pledge of halving it by the end of his four-year term.

World's Largest Money Launder

It has been discovered that the world's largest drug money launderer was Wachovia Bank.

USA Bailed Out Libya

A couple years ago Libya was such a friend the Federal Reserve provided Libya a $25 billion financial bailout. Now Libya is our enemy. This is insane:
Arab Banking Corp., the lender part- owned by the Central Bank of Libya, used a New York branch to get 73 loans from the U.S. Federal Reserve in the 18 months after Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. collapsed.

The bank, then 29 percent-owned by the Libyan state, had aggregate borrowings in that period of $35 billion ...

Saudi Arabia No Fly Zone

Will their be a Saudi Arabia no fly zone like in Libya? The actions against Libya are about oil. Saudi Arabia, home of most of the 9/11 hijackers, are our "friends". There will be no military action against Saudi Arabia.

Superfluous Traffic Stops

Four-way intersections, or the hard left turn, have many disadvantages. "T-bone" accidents are the most destructive. Vehicle stopping and starting is an unnecessary fuel waste.

Roundabouts (traffic circles) provide for continuous traffic flow. T-bone accidents are virtually non-existent.

Germany has depended on traffic lights for too long, said Duisburg professor and traffic researcher Michael Schreckenberg, who contends that the tricolor system is too expensive, inconvenient and potentially dangerous to keep around.

“Between 30 and 50 percent of the traffic lights could be replaced,” he said.

...

Cologne, for example, has replaced 200 traffic lights with roundabouts and zebra stripes in the past several years, a move which could save the city almost €4 million in energy and maintenance costs, according to the city’s own estimates. A further 90 traffic light eliminations are still expected.

Further beyond commonly accepted practices of traffic control are complete removal of traffic control. The article continues:
Other communities have ascribed to the “shared-space” model, a radical process by which all traffic lights and signs are eliminated from certain areas.

Mortgage Problems In Maryland

This will cause huge problems for obtaining clear titles on these properties. An investigation has been opened. Justice requires thousands of criminal indictments.

More foreclosure irregularities alleged in Maryland
The complaint, filed last week by a paralegal formerly employed by the Shapiro & Burson law firm, lays out allegations that attorneys who were supposed to be signing deeds and key foreclosure paperwork for Maryland properties instead instructed others to falsify their signatures on the documents.
...
A total of 16 notaries at several firms since last summer either have stepped down, were stripped of their commissions or let them lapse after complaints that the workers falsely attested to witnessing specific attorneys sign foreclosure documents, the secretary of state's office said. An additional nine cases are pending.

TSA Fudges The Numbers

The Transportation Security Administration, taking a page from the playbooks of the Federal Reserve (not inflation anywhere!) and the Bureau of Labor Statistics (no unemployed here!), massaged their numbers:
"TSA cooked the books to try to eliminate the federal-private screening program," said Rep. John L. Mica, Florida Republican and chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. "GAO found that TSA ignored critical data relating to costs."

Mr. Mica said the revised 3 percent cost difference is likely still too high because it does not take into account "the full cost of TSA's bloated and unnecessary bureaucratic overhead."

Spain Sinks

Spain is in more debt trouble than initially revealed. Is anyone surprised?

Further government deficit spending will not fix the great bank debt cover-up:
Spain’s credit rating was cut to Aa2 by Moody’s Investors Service, which said the cost of shoring up the banking industry will eclipse government estimates. The euro fell and Spanish bond yields rose.

Banks Hold USA Hostage

The banks are not happy with reduced debit card fees, so they are considering holding American consumers hostage by reducing the maximum transaction below the cost of filling up the gas tank of a car. Instead of bailing out these failed banks with TARP, we should have reorganized them.

Will Americans stand up and take back their rightful power over the banking system. Will Americans alternatively submit to JPMorgan Chase stealing more money with high swipe fees:
JPMorgan Chase, one of the nation's largest banks, is considering capping debit card transactions at either $50 or $100, according to a source with knowledge of the proposal.

TSA Helps Drug Smugglers

There are different types of TSA employees (they are not "officers"). Some work in back-office areas. Some work on the front lines by groping people. Some work with checked luggage. Some roam airports as these please and facilitate drug smuggling.

TSA officer accused of aiding drug suspects
...
The 43-year-old Transportation Security Administration employee was arrested on charges that she provided information to suspected drug traffickers and helped them get past security checkpoints with minimum scrutiny.

... charging Walker with tipping off one suspected trafficker that undercover drug agents were tailing him, and on other occasions, with accompanying alleged traffickers as they went through security screenings at the airport.

China Goes Green

China is about to leap-frog Western nations by implementing a sustainable source of electricity. This nuclear generation is safe and can not be used for weapons.

China Initiates Thorium MSR Project
The People’s Republic of China has initiated a research and development project in thorium molten-salt reactor technology ...

The Chinese also recognize that a thorium-fueled MSR is best run with uranium-233 fuel, which inevitably contains impurities (uranium-232 and its decay products) that preclude its use in nuclear weapons. ...

Currently there is no US effort to develop a thorium MSR. ...

The ability of thorium MSRs to operate at atmospheric pressure and with simplified safety systems means that these reactors could be built in factories and mass-produced. They could then be shipped to operational sites with standard transportation. Their thorium fuel is compact and inexpensive.

Obama Joins Bush War Machine

Obama has broken a couple campaign promises on closing Guatanamo and stopping fake terror trials. Obama has joined Bush. In the next election cycle, will Republicans nominate Obama?

Indefinite detention is probably an international war crime. If Obama is different than Bush, then why does Obama act like Bush?

Obama Restarts Terrorism Tribunals
The Obama administration on Monday lifted its freeze on new military trials at Guantanamo Bay and for the first time laid out its legal strategy to indefinitely detain prisoners who the government says can't be tried but are too dangerous to be freed.

Biggest Month Ever

The USA would do well to be a contestant on the TV show "Biggest Loser". The USA's eating/consuming/spending is ridiculous.

U.S. sets $223B deficit record
The federal government posted its largest monthly deficit in history in February, a $223 billion shortfall that put a sharp point on the current fight on Capitol Hill about how deeply to cut this year’s spending.

Ireland Voters Sold Out

Irish voters recently threw out the 8-decade ruling party due to frustration with selling out Ireland's economic interests.

After just one week in office, the new Fine Gael/Labour coalition government is going to implement exactly the same program of enslaving the Irish in debt. Will the Irish stop working and protest until the new coalition government wakes up to the will of the people?

The Irish elections worked in that the previous government was overwhelmingly voted out. This process was peaceful.
The new government is the same as the old government. Will the Irish people stand up? Will this be peaceful, or have the Irish run out of peaceful means of change?

Voter betrayal: FG/Labour to ditch pledges on economy
The Fine Gael/Labour coalition Government is to implement in detail the outgoing Government's four-year austerity plan as approved by the EU-IMF, the Sunday Independent can reveal.

In what will amount to the most barefaced breach of election promises ever perpetrated by an incoming Government, the coalition partners' programme for government will cause uproar when it is published today.
