NSA Backdoors "Secure" Electronics

The NSA has been putting back doors in American's electronics.  Our enemies will eventually figure out the codes and use these back doors against Americans.  We can no longer trust any of our electronics, EVEN IF new hard drives are installed

It is time for Obama's continutation of Bush's policies to end: close Guantanamo, stop spying on Americans, stop picking fights overseas.

Shopping for Spy Gear: Catalog Advertises NSA Toolbox

... an NSA division called ANT has burrowed its way into nearly all the security architecture made by the major players in the industry ... And no matter what walls companies erect, the NSA's specialists seem already to have gotten past them. ...

The list reads like a mail-order catalog, one from which other NSA employees can order technologies from the ANT division for tapping their targets' data. The catalog even lists the prices for these electronic break-in tools, with costs ranging from free to $250,000.

In the case of Juniper, the name of this particular digital lock pick is "FEEDTROUGH." This malware burrows into Juniper firewalls and makes it possible to smuggle other NSA programs into mainframe computers. Thanks to FEEDTROUGH, these implants can, by design, even survive "across reboots and software upgrades." In this way, US government spies can secure themselves a permanent presence in computer networks. The catalog states that FEEDTROUGH "has been deployed on many target platforms." ...

The ANT developers have a clear preference for planting their malicious code in so-called BIOS, software located on a computer's motherboard that is the first thing to load when a computer is turned on.

This has a number of valuable advantages: an infected PC or server appears to be functioning normally, so the infection remains invisible to virus protection and other security programs. And even if the hard drive of an infected computer has been completely erased and a new operating system is installed, the ANT malware can continue to function and ensures that new spyware can once again be loaded onto what is presumed to be a clean computer.

Federal Reserve Allows Market Manipulation

The Federal Reserve (not a government agency - a private company that sets interest rates and regulates banks) allowed a bank to trade in the electricity markets.  This trading OK allowed JPMorgan Chase to manipulate the markets and cheat to make money at the expense of electricity consumers.

Off Limits, but Blessed by the Fed

The nation’s biggest bank, JPMorgan Chase, had won the right to expand its reach in a lucrative business that has nothing to do with banking: electricity. Areas like electricity are generally off limits to banks because of the risks involved. But with its June 2010 letter, the Fed let JPMorgan take an even bigger role selling electricity in California and the Midwest ...
Three months later, JPMorgan traders began a scheme to manipulate electricity prices, ultimately forcing consumers in those regions to pay more every time they flicked on a light switch or an air-conditioner, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission subsequently contended.

The private cartel Federal Reserve is in business to protect and prop up the banks.  It is time to end the Federal Reserve and return banking regulation to Congress.

NSA Stopped No Attacks

While the NSA has lied to Congress and falsely claimed to have stopped terror attacks, a member of the White House panel says the NSA stopped no terror attacks.

A member of the White House review panel on NSA surveillance said he was “absolutely” surprised when he discovered the agency’s lack of evidence that the bulk collection of telephone call records had thwarted any terrorist attacks.

Stone was one of five members of the White House review panel – and the only one without any intelligence community experience – that this week produced a sweeping report recommending that the NSA’s collection of phone call records be terminated to protect Americans’ privacy rights.
The panel made that recommendation after concluding that the program was “not essential in preventing attacks.”

Domestic spying and violation of American's rights has not made us safer.  It has enriched many government contracting companies.  Will Obama stand up for Americans and stop the NSA, or will Obama stand up for corporate government contractors?  Obama has already told America that he will side with the insider corporations and not stop their spying:
“Lives have been saved,” Obama told reporters last June, referring to the bulk collection program and another program that intercepts communications overseas. “We know of at least 50 threats that have been averted because of this information.”

The NSA lied.  Obama lied to cover up the NSA spying crimes and to protect government contracting companies.

The report from the panel makes it clear the NSA spying is a wasteful use of funds:
The report said that “there has been no instance in which NSA could say with confidence that the outcome [of a terror investigation] would have been any different” without the program.

The panel’s findings echoed that of U.S. Judge Richard Leon, who in a ruling this week found the bulk collection program to be unconstitutional. Leon said that government officials were unable to cite “a single instance in which analysis of the NSA’s bulk collection metadata collection actually stopped an imminent attack, or otherwise aided the Government in achieving any objective that was time-sensitive in nature.”

NSA Breaks Internet Cryptography

Cryptography is the backbone of privacy on the internet.  The NSA paid the leading cryptography company to deliberately break this cryptography, thus deliberately making the internet insecure.  The US government is actively working against the interest of Americans.

Secret contract tied NSA and security industry pioneer

As a key part of a campaign to embed encryption software that it could crack into widely used computer products, the U.S. National Security Agency arranged a secret $10 million contract with RSA, one of the most influential firms in the computer security industry, Reuters has learned.

... the NSA created and promulgated a flawed formula for generating random numbers to create a "back door" in encryption products, the New York Times reported in September. Reuters later reported that RSA became the most important distributor of that formula by rolling it into a software tool called Bsafe that is used to enhance security in personal computers and many other products. ...

Undisclosed until now was that RSA received $10 million in a deal that set the NSA formula as the preferred, or default, method for number generation ...

CIA Says ... Inside Job

A CIA memo directly implicates Saudi government officials for helping the 9/11 hijackers.

"A pair of lawmakers who recently read the redacted portion say they are “absolutely shocked” at the level of foreign state involvement in the attacks.
... the CIA in one memo reportedly found “incontrovertible evidence” that Saudi government officials — not just wealthy Saudi hardliners, but high-level diplomats and intelligence officers employed by the kingdom — helped the hijackers both financially and logistically. The intelligence files cited in the report directly implicate the Saudi embassy in Washington and consulate in Los Angeles in the attacks, making 9/11 not just an act of terrorism, but an act of war."

Will Obama declassify the CIA document?  It is likely Obama will instead continue to cover-up and support the Bush-Cheney era.

Air Marshals Lie To Congress, Reporter Harassed

The reporter who documented how federal air marshals lied to Congress has been harassed by a night-time raid.  The alleged purpose of the raid was to look for a potato launcher.  The real purpose of the raid was to send an example to other reporters, and to seize protected notes in the house.

Audrey Hudson says that her reporting notes were taken during a search of her home by the Department of Homeland Security and Maryland police. ... "They took my notes without my knowledge and without legal authority to do so," Hudson told the Daily Caller. "The search warrant they presented said nothing about walking out of here with a single sheet of paper.
... five files with interview notes were taken during the raid. Those files had the names of government sources, and "were used to expose how the Federal Air Marshal Service had lied to Congress about the number of airline flights there were actually protecting against another terrorist attack," Hudson says.

Killing and "Indiscriminate Attacks"

Obama has taking remote killing from Bush and is running full-speed with it.  More drone killing of civilians creates distrust and hate.  Obama is creating the future terrorists!

Six Key Parts of a New Report That May Change Your View on Drones
... U.S. has failed to comply with international law in its use of drones to fight counterterrorism. Gathered over the course of six weeks from a HRW reporter on the ground in Yemen, the report focuses on six specific drone strikes that led to the death of 82 people—at least 57 of whom were civilians—according to the organization.
...
the six incidents “represent a range of questions that the [Obama] administration needs to answer—from indiscriminate attacks to killing when capture may have been feasible.”

When Will Consumers Stand Up?

Consumers regularly volunteer their Social Security Number to credit card companies, phone companies, cable companies, and others.  Consumers have the power to say no.  Instead, consumers wanted to have the latest iPhone on the first day of release, so they volunteer their SSN to the cell phone companies.  This is part of the result of consumer choice to volunteer private information:

Experian Sold Consumer Data to ID Theft Service
An identity theft service that sold Social Security and drivers license numbers — as well as bank account and credit card data on millions of Americans — purchased much of its data from Experian, one of the three major credit bureaus ...

Fed Hides Malfeasance

Contrary to the regulatory mandate of the private Federal Reserve, a former employee alleges she was fired when she refused to lie:

A federal judge rejected the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s plea to seal documents in a wrongful termination lawsuit filed by a former bank examiner who claims she was fired for doing her job...
The Federal Reserve is a private banking cartel that operates like a hidden tax on the people.  This 3rd central bank of the USA should be dismantled.

Sensible Spying?

Hillary Clinton calls for a sensible discussion about big government spying on the citizens.

"Hillary Clinton has called for a "sensible adult conversation", to be held in a transparent way, about the boundaries of state surveillance ..."

There is nothing "sensible" about big government gone wild.  The East Germans employed friends and neighbors to spy on each other.  Now the spying is being done electronically in the USA, and it is not better - it is simply a means for government to control the people.

Hillary said, "On the intelligence issue, we are democracies thank goodness, both the US and the UK."  Democracy gone wild in support of big government and the military-industrial complex."

Domestic Spying For What Cause?

Domestic spying has not helped to thwart domestic terror attacks.  The Washington Times reports on police state lying:

“There is no evidence that [bulk] phone records collection helped to thwart dozens or even several terrorist plots,” Sen. Patrick J. Leahy, Vermont Democrat and committee chairman, told Gen. Alexander
...

Mr. Leahy, who has been a chief critic of the NSA, asked Gen. Alexander to admit that only 13 of the 54 cases had any connection at all to the U.S., “Would you agree with that, yes or no?”
“Yes,” Gen. Alexander replied in a departure from normal practice.
The spokesperson for the big-brother security state lied about the number of foiled terrorist attacks.  Is he also lying about the 13 cases?

Gen. Alexander also acknowledged that only one or perhaps two of even those 13 cases had been foiled with help from the NSA’s vast phone records database.
Yes, he did lie.  "Perhaps" one or two.  Or perhaps zero.

Why is the USA's secret police state spying on us?  Are they looking to blackmail potential political candidates?  Are they looking for unclaimed taxes?  In the name of homeland security, we have turned ourselves into 1950s east Germany - we spy on ourselves.

Private Control of Government

Bulgarians have been protesting for months because they are aware that private interests have taken over government.  This has been happening in countries all over the world.  Bulgarians are aware and willing to take action to restore representative government.

Bulgarian protesters block parliament, scuffle with police
Protesters pulled out sidewalk tiles and piled garbage bins to cut off roads to Bulgaria's parliament, shouting "Mafia!" and "Resign!" and "Red Garbage!", to keep the deputies under blockade until the Socialist-led government steps down.
... many see as an example of private interests controlling state institutions.

Scientists Can't Find The Warming

Senator Barbara Boxer held hearings about the environment and global warming.  None of her hand-picked experts could point to any rise in temperature.  If the scientists can't find warming temperatures, does global warming really exist?

Senator Barbara Boxer's Own Experts Contradict Obama On Global Warming
...
Obama said, “we also know that the climate is warming faster than anybody anticipated five or 10 years ago.”
However, climate scientists including United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) lead author Hans von Storch report temperatures have remained essentially flat for the past 10 years, and indeed for the past 15 years.  Storch told Der Spiegel that 98 percent of IPCC climate models cannot replicate the prolonged pause in global warming, and IPCC may need to revise its computer models to correct their apparent warming bias.

Force-Feeding Is Torture

Obama's War Department, who is breaking his campaign promise to close Guantanamo Bay, is force-feeding people who are being held in indefinite detention.  Is this really the land of the free and home of the brave?

What is the purpose of government?  Can government force anyone to eat or drink or work a certain job ... like a slave?

Force Feeding Gitmo Hunger Strikers Violates International Law
President Obama this week defended the US’s policy of force feeding detainees in Guantanamo Bay who are protesting their due process-free indefinite detention by going on a hunger strike.
On Wednesday, UN human rights officials declared that force feeding amounts to torture ...

Stop force-feeding Guantanamo prisoners
... Barack Obama should end the painful and degrading practice of force-feeding prisoners at Guantanamo Bay ... the judge also said there "appears to be a consensus" that force-feeding violates international law, specifically Article 7 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, which bars "torture or cruel, inhumane and degrading treatment."

U.N. Official Says Gitmo Force-Feeding Violates International Law
A United Nations official called the practice of force-feeding hunger strikers at Guantanamo Bay “torture” on Wednesday, adding the world body to a growing list of those concerned over U.S. treatment of detainees there.

James Clapper Lied

Intelligence chief James Clapper was caught lying to Congress.

Clapper admitted that his response in a March hearing to a question from Senator Ron Wyden on NSA data collection was “clearly erroneous.”

Who still believes government and their paid liars are working in the best interest of the average Americans?  An apology is not good enough.  James Clapper should be fired.

Fake food okay for you, but not for me

Further demonstrating hypocrisy by the ruling-class elite, the UK parliament bans GMO food in parliament restaurants while pushing the working masses to consume GMO products:

... the U.K. Parliament has effectively barred their use in all food items served to government officials at Parliament restaurants, according to new reports. This, despite the fact that prominent elected officials in the U.K. are right now pushing GMOs on a public that is largely opposed to them ...
... Parliament's ban on GMOs at its own restaurants comes amid the procurement of a massive pro-GMO propaganda campaign being led by this very same Parliament against the interests of its own people. Biotech industry hacks like Conservative Secretary of State for the Environment Owen Paterson, for instance, who actually claims GMOs are safer than non-GMOs, is currently pushing for more GMO acceptance in his country even though he does not eat GMOs himself.

Government rulers have become the elite untouchables, while the working classes are second-class.

Bottled Water Purchase Brings Aggravated Assault

In Virginia, buying groceries brings outlandish assault by federal police:

... student Elizabeth Daly was with her roommates picking up some bottled water, ice cream, and cookie dough ...
A group of state Alcoholic Beverage Control agents clad in plainclothes approached her, suspecting the blue carton of LaCroix sparkling water to be a 12-pack of beer. Police say one of the agents jumped on the hood of her car. She says one drew a gun. Unsure of who they were, Daly tried to flee the darkened parking lot.

Agents charged Daly with two counts of assaulting a law enforcement officer and one count of eluding police, all Class 6 felonies carrying a maximum penalty of five years in prison and $2,500 in fines per offense.

Will these over-bearing and out of control agents for the federal government be charged with aggravated assault and deprivation of rights?  Or are rogue government actors above the law?

Our "Protectors" Lie

These people, who hide behind a wall of classified documents, are traitors to the Constitution.  The only viable solution is to drastically reduce the size and scope of the federal government.  In the meantime, James Clapper should be fired and criminally indicted.

Spy chief Clapper denies misleading Congress about spying on Americans
Director of National Intelligence James Clapper mislead Congress in March when he denied that the National Security Agency intentionally collects any type of data at all on millions of Americans ...

James Clapper's lies weren't off-the-cuff.  He had received the questions a day earlier.
Wyden: I gave Clapper that question a day in advance of his untruthful answer
Wyden suggests strongly that he will pursue an investigation into possible perjury and/or obstruction, perhaps involving both Clapper and Keith Alexander, based on Alexander’s similar denial given the year before.

Let's see the indictments and handcuffs.  As Bruce Schneier says, "Investigate the government."

World Bankster Indicted

It may surprise some people to see the IMF chief indicted for embezzlement and fraud.  It is also surprising how the previous chief left under indictment for sexual molestation of a hotel chambermaid.

What should be the real surprise?
Sit back and think.  Take your time.

The real surprise should be the chiefs of Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, the Federal Reserve, and the World Bank aren't also under indictment.  It has been documented that Goldman Sachs helped Greece cook the country's books so Greece could fraudulently qualify for admittance into the Euro currency zone.

Greek Debt Crisis: How Goldman Sachs Helped Greece to Mask its True Debt
Greece's debt managers agreed a huge deal with the savvy bankers of US investment bank Goldman Sachs at the start of 2002. The deal involved so-called cross-currency swaps in which government debt issued in dollars and yen was swapped for euro debt for a certain period -- to be exchanged back into the original currencies at a later date.

IRS Official Refuses To Testify

An IRS official will reportedly refuse to testify about political targeting.
Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening — or why she didn’t disclose it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor III. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday.
Where are the handcuffs?
  • indict
  • arrest
  • prosecute
  • imprison
Where are the calls to abolish the income tax on people?

30-Year War

The over-riding purpose of the endless wars since 2001 is the eternal perpetuation of war.  War is no longer an extraordinary event.  War is now the common state of the nation.

Constant domestic surveillance and feeding the military-industrial complex.  This is how we want to live and spend our tax dollars?

Where Are The Indictments

Acting like we are in East Germany in the 1970s, the USA government got phone records of reporters.  Which government employees signed off on the letters that would be needed to get these phone records?  Where are the indictments and who will go to prison?

Lawmakers from both parties sharply questioned the Justice Department over its reported effort to secretly obtain two months of phone records from Associated Press journalists, with House Speaker John Boehner’s office saying “they better have a damned good explanation.”

Will anything happen by either party?  Of course not!  The two parties are there to maintain their power over the people, not to help the people.  The sooner voters understand this fact, the sooner they will vote for 3rd-party candidates in large numbers.

Government Sees Every American As Terrorist

Rather than chasing terrorists, or following up on leads on terrorists, the government has turned the surveillance state toward law-abiding Americans engaged in peaceful protest.

Russia twice warned about the suspects in the recent Boston Marathon bombing.  Boston Police and federal intelligence agencies instead focused their resources on peaceful Wall Street protests.

Investigators spy on peaceful protestors and ignore Russian warnings:
In the fall of 2011, a key Boston police counterterror intelligence unit -- funded with millions of dollars in U.S. homeland security grants -- was closely monitoring anti-Wall Street demonstrations, including tracking the Facebook pages and websites of the protesters and writing reports on the potential impact on "commercial and financial sector assets" in downtown areas, according to internal police documents.
The police monitoring of the activities of Occupy Boston -- an off-shoot of the Occupy Wall Street protests that swept the country in 2011 -- came during a period after the U.S. government received the second of two warnings from the Russian government about the radical Islamic ties of alleged Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
... monitoring was an example of the “vast expenditure of government money” to collect intelligence on activities unrelated to terrorism, in violation of First Amendment rights.

 FBI monitors peaceful protestors:
[T]he FBI treated the Occupy movement as a potential criminal and terrorist threat even though the agency acknowledges in documents that organizers explicitly called for peaceful protest and did “not condone the use of violence” at occupy protests.
“This production, which we believe is just the tip of the iceberg, is a window into the nationwide scope of the FBI’s surveillance, monitoring, and reporting on peaceful protestors organizing with the Occupy movement,” stated Mara Verheyden-Hilliard...  “These documents show that the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security are treating protests against the corporate and banking structure of America as potential criminal and terrorist activity.  These documents also show these federal agencies functioning as a de facto intelligence arm of Wall Street and Corporate America.

While Occupy Wall Street was composed mostly of independent and Democratic voters, Tea Parties were typically composed of Republicans and some independent voters.  Bringing equal opportunity to government spying and harassment, the IRS targeted Tea Party groups for special investigation:

Internal Revenue Service workers between 2010 and 2012 singled out groups with "Tea Party" and "Patriots" in their name for extra scrutiny of their applications for tax-exempt status.
... In some instances, the workers asked for donor lists, which violated laws.
The IRS lied to attempt to cover up the political targeting:
When the question was put to the IRS, the agency denied it. At a House Ways and Means subcommittee hearing in March 2012, Commissioner Douglas Shulman insisted that "There's absolutely no targeting. This is the kind of back and forth that happens to people" if they want to get tax-exempt status.

Will there be indictments for government employees breaking the law?  Does anyone still believe the government is protecting Americans or protecting big government budgets?

It's not about left versus right, it's about big government versus you.

North Koreans mark major national holiday amid missile launch fears
and

now the rest of the story is revealed. The long range missiles on display in parades have been widely recognized as fakes.

Where is Fox News to revise their reporting... on to the next fake crisis.

All Your Phone Are Belong To Us

Intelligence agencies scoop up everything they can, including all domestic phone calls.  While this activity is illegal, they claim the recordings are not accessed.  Of course the recordings are accessed.  That is the purpose of making the recordings.  The government wants to know everything all of the time.  Who is the enemy?

The real capabilities and behavior of the US surveillance state are almost entirely unknown to the American public because, like most things of significance done by the US government, it operates behind an impenetrable wall of secrecy.

On Wednesday night, Burnett interviewed Tim Clemente, a former FBI counterterrorism agent, about whether the FBI would be able to discover the contents of past telephone conversations between the two. He quite clearly insisted that they could:
BURNETT: Tim, is there any way, obviously, there is a voice mail they can try to get the phone companies to give that up at this point. It's not a voice mail. It's just a conversation. There's no way they actually can find out what happened, right, unless she tells them?
CLEMENTE: "No, there is a way. We certainly have ways in national security investigations to find out exactly what was said in that conversation. It's not necessarily something that the FBI is going to want to present in court, but it may help lead the investigation and/or lead to questioning of her. We certainly can find that out.

The FBI won't want to present it in court, because it is illegal and unconstitutional to do what they are doing.

Benghzai Cover-Up, Foreign Aid Abuse

The government is preventing those of knowledge of the Benhazi attack from producing evidence.  There are multiple articles explaining how whistleblowers are being prevented from speaking.  What is the government hiding?

CBS News reports:
The attorney for a whistleblower on the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, says the Obama administration is impeding efforts to allow her client and other whistleblowers to speak.
...
The House Oversight Committee says the State Department's restrictive access to Benghazi documents has been an ongoing problem.

What if our foreign policy is wasteful and harms freedom?  Maybe we should investigate foreign aid abuse, as suggested by Rand Paul:
Stories of bags of cash being dropped off by the CIA on the desks of foreign regimes seems to have reached the ears of Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.).
...
Several former Afghan government officials report the regular appearance and disappearance of sacks full of CIA “ghost money” in and out of the offices of President Hamid Karzai.
...
Former World Bank senior economist William Easterly estimates that World Bank and IMF loans “actually boosted poverty worldwide by a total of 14 million people.”

Obamacare Enriches Doctors

Rather than saving money, Obamacare is going to make medical companies even richer.  The mandates in Obamacare will require testing, thus increasing the cost of medical care.

The change, published on Monday in the Annals of Internal Medicine, will likely trigger coverage for the tests as a preventive service under the Affordable Care Act. Under President Barack Obama's healthcare law, insurers are required to cover preventive services that are recommended by the task force.

"Now, hopefully they will go back and re-categorize that and recommend that it will be covered for every adult."

State Sponsored Terrorism

The US has been invading countries and bombing civilians for twelve years, in an effort to stop terrorism.  Are we missing the real terrorists that are sponsored by countries?  What about the Saudis who were involved with the 9/11 terrorism?  Why hasn't the US invaded Saudi Arabia?

Saudi Government Linked to 9/11 Attacks
Two former senators – one a 9/11 Commissioner, the other the co-chair of the joint Congressional inquiry into 9/11 – state in sworn declarations that the Saudi government backed the 9/11 attack.

“I am convinced that there was a direct line between at least some of the terrorists who carried out the September 11th attacks and the government of Saudi Arabia,” former Senator Bob Graham, Democrat of Florida, said in an affidavit...

What if parts of the US government are actually protecting the hijackers and Saudi Arabia?

The Co-Chair of the Congressional Inquiry into 9/11 and former Head of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Bob Graham, previously stated that an FBI informant had hosted and rented a room to two hijackers in 2000 and that, when the Inquiry sought to interview the informant, the FBI refused outright, and then hid him in an unknown location, and that a high-level FBI official stated these blocking maneuvers were undertaken under orders from the White House.

“In the final report of the congressional inquiry, there was a chapter related primarily to the Saudi role in 9/11 that was totally censored, every word of the chapter has been withheld from the public,” Graham said...

Bob Kerrey of Nebraska, a Democrat who served on the separate 9/11 Commission, said in a sworn affidavit of his own in the case that “significant questions remain unanswered” about the role of Saudi institutions. “Evidence relating to the plausible involvement of possible Saudi government agents in the September 11th attacks has never been fully pursued,” Mr. Kerrey said.

The US government is protecting the Saudis.  Why did the US government not fully pursue evidence leading to Saudi Arabia?  Why is the US government continuing to block investigation of Saudi sponsored terrorism?  Why did the US invade Iraq, on false pretenses of WMDs, when the evidence pointed at Saudi Arabia?  Why is the Obama Justice Department protecting the Saudis?

Washington has continued to stand behind Saudi Arabia publicly, with the Justice Department joining the kingdom in trying to have the lawsuits thrown out of court ...

Trusted Workers Bypass Airport Security

In our world of make-believe security, the "trusted" airport workers don't go through security screening.  They literally walk around security, often through special doors not seen by the traveling public, carrying oversized bottles of liquids and backpacks full of anything.  What happens when these trusted employees start carrying packages of drugs?  What happens if one of the TSA employees is blackmailed into carrying a package through the no-security doors?  People, even those who previously had security clearances, can and do bad things.  As the following article states,"Sometimes, unfortunately, humans do some really stupid things".

Airline, Airport Employees Caught Abusing Security Badges
[A worker used] his badge to put his family in a van at a cargo facility and then drive them across the airport ramp to terminal E.  They were caught entering the terminal after a police officer "heard children laughing" on the airport ramp.
[A] flight attendant was caught sneaking a backpack through an employee entrance and giving it to her husband boarding a flight ...

Who still thinks the naked scans, groping, and violation of 4th Amendment rights protects us in the airline system?  The fake TSA security is an expensive fraud.  Real security would exempt no one from the screening process.  Either there is security for everyone, or there is security for no one.

Chance To Serve My Country

Shortly after 9/11, Sibel Edmonds was recruited by the FBI.  She quickly saw bungling, incompetence, and serious coverups.  She reported what she saw and was harassed, fired, and gagged.

A couple must listen interviews with her.  In the first interview, she says her recruitment into the US intelligence community was "My chance to serve my country."

While most of this happened under the Bush administration, under the Obama administration the FBI suggested she removed any references to Obama.

Check out Sibel Edmonds' blog.

White House Knew Of Torture

Dick Cheney and the White House knew of prisoner torture.  Prisoners have not been released under Obama to keep them quiet.

Ex-Bush Official Willing to Testify Bush, Cheney Knew Gitmo Prisoners Innocent
Rumsfeld knowingly lied, according to a former top Bush administration official.  And so did then Vice President Dick Cheney ...
Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, who was chief of staff to former Secretary of State Colin Powell during George W. Bush's first term in office, said Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld knew the "vast majority" of prisoners captured in the so-called War on Terror were innocent and the administration refused to set them free once those facts were established because of the political repercussions that would have ensued.

Patent Frustration

Frustrated with a rejection by the US patent office, attorney Andrew Schroeder loses it.

Are you drunk? No, seriously…are you drinking scotch and whiskey with a side of crack cocaine while you "examine" patent applications?

Since when did the USPTO become a post World War II jobs program?

Do we have to write patent applications in crayon? Does a patent application have to come with some sort of pop-up book? Do you have to be a family member or some big law firm who incentivizes you with some other special deal?

Perhaps you might want to take your job seriously and actually give a sh.t! What's the point in having to deal with you Special Olympics rejects when we should just go straight to Appeals? While you idiots sit around in bathtubs farting and picking your noses ...

Your job is not a joke, but you are turning it into a regular three ring circus.

IRS: All Your Base Are Belong To Us

The employees working for the IRS believe they deserve to know everything about you, without a warrant.  While this is outrageous, most Americans seem not to care.

IRS: We can read emails without warrant
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has claimed that agents do not need warrants to read people's emails, text messages and other private electronic communications, according to internal agency documents.
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), which obtained the documents through a Freedom of Information Act request, released the information on Wednesday.

Disguised Product Placement in Wall Street Journal

In summer of 2012, the Mormons made an advertising push using outdoor billboards to try sell present Mormons as being regular people.  The 2012 Presidential race, with Willard "Mitt" Romney as the GOP nominee, excited Mormons for several reasons:
  • higher profile for the religion
  • upon election, Romney would provide cover for further intelligence agency staffing by Mormons
  • church bishops would control Romney, and therefore control the direction of the country.
The Mormon marketing and branding push is continuing, though in more subtle ways.  The Wall Street Journal recently ran what appeared to be a company press release or paid article for Mormons.  The article/ad highlighted how a woman led a prayer.

The article/ad incorrectly referred to the Mormon religion as "Christianity", which is not correct.  The Mormon religion is a recently created cult which believes every member can rise to the status of God.  True Christianity believes there is only one God, therefore Mormons are not Christians.  Mormons don't display the cross, look down on unmarried women who don't have children (though now believe after death they will be rewarded with a husband and children) and it is difficult to escape the Mormon cult.

Shame on the Wall Street Journal.

Financial Information At A Price

While America's worker bees are encouraged to go to work, don't question America's policy, pay taxes, and put a few dollars into a self-directed retirement plan.  The bankster elites have found yet another way to skim the worker's retirement funds out of the stock market, by paying for early access to information that the SEC says is supposed to be released with equal access to everyone at the same time.

The banksters use high-priced trading subscriptions to skim fractions of a penny from all transactions by front-running the average retail investor.  This is known as "high frequency trading".  These schemes typically have subscriptions to data feeds, and the high-priced subscriptions are alleged to provide early access to company information.  There are laws against this and the SEC prohibits this.  The banksters continue to be above the law, while skimming from

A former Thomson Reuters Corp employee has filed a lawsuit saying he was fired for telling the Federal Bureau of Investigation that he believed the company violated insider-trading laws ...
Thomson Reuters releases the monthly survey to so-called "ultra low-latency" subscribers at two seconds before 9:55 a.m. ET, to "desktop" subscribers at 9:55 a.m., and to the general public at 10 a.m.

American Poverty Rises

Poverty in America is approaching 1960s levels.  Looks like all of that outsourcing and offshoring is not helping the people.  Meanwhile, the banksters were bailed out and kept their 2008 bonuses.  USA USA USA!

U.S. poverty on track to rise to highest since 1960s

Poverty is spreading at record levels across many groups, from underemployed workers and suburban families to the poorest poor. More discouraged workers are giving up on the job market ...

Tsunami Bomb, When Friends Are Enemies.

Research and testing of non-conventional warfare that causes ocean and weather disasters was being tested in the 1950s.  Sixty years later, how far has the technology progressed?

Organic WMD Tested in 1945 off New Zealand
The tests were carried out in waters around New Caledonia and Auckland during the Second World War and showed that the weapon was feasible and a series of 10 large offshore blasts could potentially create a 33-foot tsunami capable of inundating a small city.

In the dark alleys of internal espionage, friends are enemies.  Israel released classified information about US nuclear capabilities to the Soviets.

Israel Gave Soviets Nuclear First Strike Intel against America
The Israelis at the time, enjoying their ‘special relationship’ with American, were spying for the Soviets. They were tasked with providing them first strike intelligence against the United States.

That’s right folks, a nuclear first strike. Our wonderful Israeli friends had hooked up with the Commies to do America in.

Monsanto Protection Act

File this under "It's OK if Obama does it".

Obama signs Monsanto Protection Act, to allow big corporations to stomp on Americans and plant experimental GMO crops.

Anyone still confused about the left vs right paradigm should wake up.  Look at the facts.  This is big government corporatism vs the people.

Criminals Keep Jobs and Avoid Jail

They kept their jobs.  They avoided jail.
The banksters do have different rules than other people.  Banksters are the protected people of the USA.

Bank employees were money laundering and hiding transactions for Iran.  A regular person doing this on a tiny scale would be in prison.  Banksters have company shareholders pay the fine while they walk and keep their jobs.

Standard Chartered Recants, Apologizes

... At an earnings news conference, he said there had been "no willful acts to avoid sanctions," a statement that contradicted the bank's agreements with U.S. and Manhattan authorities last year in which it acknowledged that it had knowingly disguised transactions to avoid detection by U.S. supervisors.

The chairman's written statement Thursday said his March 5 comment was "wrong" and that he regrets making it. The bank "unequivocally acknowledges and accepts responsibility…for past knowing and willful criminal conduct in violating U.S. economic sanctions laws and regulations," he said.

... Standard Chartered reached settlements totaling $667 million last year with the Justice Department, the Manhattan district attorney's office, the U.S. Treasury Department, the Federal Reserve and the New York Department of Financial Services over transactions with Iranian clients ...

Mr. Peace said no bank employees lost their jobs over the matter. ...

Domestic Spying

Does anyone care that programs implemented by Bush and Cheney, and continued by Obama, are unconstitutional?  These domestic spying programs are classified to cover up the crimes by federal government employees.

Confiscating Deposits

Over the weekend, Cyprus announced a vote on taking money from insured bank accounts.  Now New Zealand is considering a similar action.  This is outright theft by government.

Current monetary systems are based on fractional reserve lending.  If the depositors withdraw their money, to avoid it being stolen by the government, it will reduce the amount of available lending capacity.  This could become a serious problem for the worldwide banking system.

National planning Cyprus-style solution for New Zealand

The National Government are pushing a Cyprus-style solution to bank failure in New Zealand which will see small depositors lose some of their savings to fund big bank bailouts, the Green Party said today.

Killing Americans: By Drones & Street Gangs

The current Commander in Chief, following the footsteps of President Bush, is executing Americans by drone.  Now street gangs, under the color of law, are shooting at unarmed Americans.  History buffs will recall street executions in Germany during the 1930s.

Women delivering newspapers were shot by the street gang dressed up as police.

The police "us versus them" is being violently demonstrated.  This will lead to average people taking a similar "us versus them" mentality, and fearing "them" (the police).

A few actors in the Los Angeles police department are rogue criminals violating the rights of the people.  If local prosecutors don't file charges of assault and attempted murder against those police, the federal government must step in to ensure the safety of the people.

Iceland Wins

The people of Iceland have won against the international banksters.  Iceland told the banksters to take a walk.  While other countries in Europe and the USA continue to sink under the weight of debt, Iceland's recovery is spectacularly recovering.

Iceland Wins Case On Deposit Guarantees
The court of the European Free Trade Association on Monday said Iceland didn't breach European Economic Area directives on deposit guarantees by not compensating U.K. and Dutch depositors in Landsbanki's online savings accounts, known as Icesave accounts.
...
The directive, part of EU rules to which Iceland subscribes, "does not lay down an obligation on the State and its authorities to ensure compensation if a deposit-guarantee scheme is unable to cope with its obligations in the event of a systemic crisis," the ruling said.  The ruling of the EFTA Court is final and can't be appealed.

Too bad the Irish people allowed their government to bail out the banksters, on the backs of the Irish people.

Iceland Sends FBI Home

Iceland doesn't allow invaders on their island.  They sent the FBI packing.

FBI Banned from Iceland

FBI agents landed in Reykjavík without prior notification in an attempt to investigate WikiLeaks operations in the country, but Home Secretary Ögmundur Jónasson found out about the visit and forced them to leave the country, with the Icelandic government then issuing a formal protest to US authorities.

...

A private plane landed at the Reykjavík airport in August 2011. Onboard were FBI agents who'd flown directly to Iceland from the US. Their mission was to investigate WikiLeaks operations in the country as part of a larger investigation of the whistleblower organisation. The FBI agents contacted the head of the national Icelandic police and the head prosecutor in an effort to gain access to all available information on WikiLeaks.

Home Secretary Ögmundur Jónasson learned of the visit and summoned the FBI agents. They were told that the Icelandic government would not permit a foreign power running their own investigations in the country. Jónasson admonished the FBI agents to return to the US.

Television or School Supplies?

Internet access is nearly a required home school supply.  Do parents spend their money on TVs and television programming instead of an internet connection?  Yes they do, and then they go to McDonald's.

The Web-Deprived Study at McDonald's
... The result is a divide between families that have broadband constantly available on their home computers and phones, and those that have to plan their days around visits to free sources of Internet access.  That divide is becoming a bigger problem now that a fast Internet connection has evolved into an essential tool for completing many assignments at public schools. ...

... Linda Edwards, says she already pays a large portion of her monthly budget for telecommunications: more than $150 for cellphones for herself and an older son, and $55 for satellite television... She said she couldn't afford the $250 deposit she would need to get satellite Internet ...

Priorities are priorities, and television is a higher priority than school work.

Border Patrol Keeps The USA Safe

We absolutely can not allow cheese to infiltrate the swiss cheese border.

230 Pounds of Cheese Seized at U.S./Mexico Border
... people are only allowed to bring in "personal quantities" of cheese, which is "something in the 10 pound range."

CBP says the cheese-carrier came through the port Friday night, and officers found three big ice chests upon inspection of the pickup truck.

Officers found "numerous bundles of undeclared cheese," according to CBP.

Don't worry, folks, the cheese has been "destroyed," according to the agency.
