President Obama's Secrecy

President Obama described his administration as being the most open.
My Administration is committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in Government.  We will work together to ensure the public trust and establish a system of transparency, public participation, and collaboration.

The Obama administration has actually worked to undo the open access law known as FOIA.

It Took a FOIA Lawsuit to Uncover How the Obama Administration Killed FOIA Reform
The Obama administration has long called itself the most transparent administration in history. But newly released Department of Justice (DOJ) documents show that the White House has actually worked aggressively behind the scenes to scuttle congressional reforms designed to give the public better access to information possessed by the federal government.

Political Prosecutions

While the elite, such as former Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin are protected from prosecution, Attorney General Loretta Lynch is looking in to prosecuting speech of regular Americans.

The 4th Amendment to the Constitution broadly protects speech. President Obama's chief law enforcer, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, is investigating how to prosecute unwanted speech.

Attorney General Lynch Looks Into Prosecuting ‘Climate Change Deniers’
U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch told the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday that not only has she discussed internally the possibility of pursuing civil actions against so-called “climate change deniers,” but she has “referred it to the FBI to consider whether or not it meets the criteria for which we could take action.”

Did Robert Rubin Break The Law?

After the baking meltdown in 2007 and 2008, a commission was established to investigate. In 2010 the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission referred Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin to the Department of Justice for criminal investigation. The commission stated Robert Rubin, “may have violated the laws of the United States in relation to the financial crisis.

Robert Rubin Was Targeted for DOJ Investigation by Financial Crisis Commission
Rubin, the commission alleged, along with some other members of Citi’s top management, may have been “culpable” for misleading Citi’s investors and the market by hiding the extent of the bank’s subprime exposure, stating at one point that it was 76% lower than what it actually was.
...
No government action was ever brought against Rubin. And there is no evidence that Department of Justice acted on the crisis commission’s recommendations.

In modern American, the elite are not prosecuted for their crimes. The rule of law applies to regular Americans, not the politically-connected elite.

USA vs USA

American has various intelligence and war-fighting departments funding groups in Syria which fight each other. With America funding both sides of the conflict, a logical question is to wonder if this is to foment trouble and help weapons manufacturers sell more products.

Non-American newspapers are willing to call out Obama for constant war-fighting.

US-backed militia groups now fighting each other in Syria

If anywhere can show the consequences of American foreign policy under President Barack Obama, it may be the small town of Marea, north of Aleppo.
...
Analysts – and many American diplomats who have left the administration, some in disgust – say that the mess is a consequence of President Obama’s decision to support the rebellion against President Bashar al-Assad, but only half-heartedly.
...

Then he also decided to support the Kurds. He wanted them to fight Isil, which they did, but they also took on anyone else who stood in the way of a Kurdish mini-state in northern Syria, and that now means rebel areas like Marea, north of Aleppo, which is between that mini-state’s western and eastern halves.

As a result, the town is being fought over by two western proxies.

Models For Wealth

The man-made global warming meme was based upon faulty models. Those advocating for these models, such as Al Gore (multiple huge houses, private jet) made considerable speaking fees to hype the alleged doomsday scenario.

After several years of push-back from the mainstream religion of man-made global warming, some scientists are beginning to speak up about the fact that the global warming models have failed.

Should we continue on the path of world-wide taxation on CO2 output (animals exhale CO2), or should we prudently review the failures of hyped models?

Scientists Finally Admit Climate Models Are Failing To Predict Global Warming

A group of scientists recently put out a new study confirming the 15-year “hiatus” in global warming. That study made headlines, but what went largely unnoticed was a major admission made by the paper’s authors: the climate models were wrong.
“There is this mismatch between what the climate models are producing and what the observations are showing,” John Fyfe, Canadian climate modeler and lead author of the new paper, told Nature. “We can’t ignore it.”
