Long-time writer and current editor of Tech Crunch, Connie Loizos, posted a rant against Peter Thiel. Peter Thiel is the billionaire tech founder and investor who publicly supported Donald Trump.

The Silicon Valley elite are beside themselves about the crushing defeat of Hillary Clinton. It turned out they were trapped in an echo chamber and they could only hear themselves. Few people in Silicon Valley were willing to stand up and support and alternative, and Peter Thiel was one of the few.

Instead of moving on, Tech Crunch editor Connie Loizos bizarrely wrote, "Now he may discover how deeply unpopular it makes him." Peter Thiel knew a year ago that supporting Trump would be unpopular, and Peter did it anyways. To now imagine that Peter may become unpopular is delusional thinking on the part of Connie Loizos.

In modern American, the elite are not prosecuted for their crimes. The rule of law applies to regular Americans, not the politically-connected elite.

American has various intelligence and war-fighting departments funding groups in Syria which fight each other. With America funding both sides of the conflict, a logical question is to wonder if this is to foment trouble and help weapons manufacturers sell more products.

San Bernadino Killer Could Have Been Discovered Before Entering USA

While everyone is allowed to express themselves through speech, those who threaten the United States not be granted a visa to enter the country. Instead of checking visa applicants backgrounds on the internet to determine if the person is a threat, Department of Homeland Security is prohibited from searching social networks to look for trouble with visa applicants.


The policies of the federal government are the opposite of keeping us safe. Checking social networks would have prevented entry by one of the San Bernadino killers.

The State Department today said that “obviously things went wrong” in the visa background check for one of the San Bernardino shooters -- comments that came in the wake of an ABC News report that said officials by policy generally do not check social media postings of applicants due to civil liberties concerns and therefore would not have seen purported evidence of Tashfeen Malik’s radicalization online.
