MoveOn.org is hosting a moron petition by Robert Applebaum. The petition title is "Want a Real Economic Stimulus and Jobs Plan? Forgive Student Loan Debt!"
Robert Applebaum is full-on retarded. Why not sends checks to everyone in America, like Bush did, instead of those who got in over their heads with student loans?
Or if you want to fix the unaffordable higher education costs, a couple actions will quickly do the job:
1) allow bankruptcy to discharge this debt (instead of allowing permanent debt slavery)
2) remove the government guarantee on the debt
