Slowly Creeping Control of Biometrics

Big government continues to spend tax dollars to steadily increase deployment of creepy biometric scanning. The picture-taking at airports is opt-in ... just like the full-body x-ray scans are also opt-in. If you don't want to volunteer, you can simply choose to not do it.

The TSA sells the full-body x-ray scans as a "... voluntary alternative to a physical pat down ...", though pat downs are not actually required. Any reader can test the non-requirement of pat downs by going to a small regional airport that only has x-ray machines, and observe the lack of pat downs. Yes, anyone can enter the so-called secure airport space without a full body x-ray by starting at a small regional airport, or by simply opting out of the x-ray machine.
