United Airlines New Hire Medical Discrimination

United Airlines gave up on requiring existing employees to vaccinate. The mandatory vaccination policy will be a requirement for United Airlines new hires, which on the surface appears to be medical discrimination. For human resources, forcing new hires to comply with an unproven vaccine which does not prevent infection is an excellent way to screen out potential hires who may question management. All new hires will be screened (via vaccination consent) for willingness to comply. This may harm United Airlines safety ratings in future years as the workforce becomes unwilling to speak up and think independently in a safety-critical industry.

United Airlines to bring back workers idled over vaccination

United Airlines will bring back employees who were placed on unpaid leave last year because they refused to get vaccinated against COVID-19. ... A United spokeswoman said Thursday that the company still requires new employees to be vaccinated.
